We're hiring a Marketing lead at 8club! A year ago, 8club was just a concept. I remember us distributing pamphlets on hot Delhi streets, but no one paid us any attention. So we got a little creative. We talked to 50 cab drivers at Delhi Airport and convinced them to place QR codes on their seats, and they’d get Rs. 10 for every scan. We couldn’t track where the scans were coming from! (we did reward our drivers.) And by the end of the day, we had over 100 sign-ups. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked. Fast forward to today; we've got over 80,000 people on our waitlist—just in Bangalore! And now, we’re ready for the next phase. Up until now, we were solely focused on building offline distribution (which is the hardest thing). So, we need YOU to carry on the momentum and also open up online marketing avenues for 8club. Here’s what we’re looking for in our Marketing lead: - You understand psychology, customer behaviour and how offline spaces work. - You breathe creativity and can come up with hacky ideas(like us) with a strong bias for action - You can build data-led actionable decision making frameworks - You know how to build a marketing AOP and can manage a marketing P&L to drive measurable growth outcomes - You understand Instagram, X and Linkedin inside out - You thrive in liberty to experiment, create, and build in ways that defy the norm—just like we did—but even better.
