Wonderful seaside welcome to Beer Parish Church on Sunday. Super impressed with Revd Simon's rather bright clerical shirt and loved the matching knitted mouse. #Seaton & #Beer @CofEDevon

The worst customer experience ever with @sainsburys Home Insurance. The website does not let you change your property details (we are moving) if you call the customer service it tells you to go on line. You go on line it tells you to call customer service.40mins on hold then cut

Let us be truly sisters and brothers without distinction of social classes, without first – and second – class citizens. Let us all be raised to the stature of God’s heart and to the stature of the Virgin’s heart —St Oscar Romero, 4th Sunday of Advent (Year B), 1978.

As well as those now facing Christmas alone, please spare a thought and prayer today for the many, NHS, police, clergy and others, who are working Christmas Day, for the benefit of others, and had planned their Christmas bubbles for some other day.

This is not something that Archbishops expect to say at Christmas, but it’s said with love. Whatever your Christmas plans, look after yourselves and each other. The God who was born among us in a manger will be with you, wherever you are. theguardian.com/uk-news/2020…

I have come to the conclusion that the Government is being sponsored by Billy Smart and his circus. If see Rees Mogg in a bow tie I will watch for it to start spinning. If Boris gets in a car I’ll wait for the doors to fall off

What if I break them in a limited and specific way?
We all face a choice. If everyone follows the rules, then we can avoid a further lockdown.

Dominic Raab hasn’t even read the Good Friday Agreement. His excuse? ‘It’s not a novel’. No. It’s not even a novella. It’s 35 pages. More of a short story, really. Except it’s not a story - it’s real, with real world consequences that affect lives. Oh, and it’s HIS JOB.
“May I ask you. Have you read the Good Friday Agreement?” To which Dominic Raab replied: “Well, I haven’t sat down, and started from the beginning and gone through it.”

When I first posted this cartoon a year ago I was surprised at the anger it provoked. I didn't mean to. All I was trying to do was issue a suggestion that if you think your Jesus accepts you then you should be careful who you reject because it has consequences.
