This week we were able to welcome representatives from a number of local post-16 providers to speak to our Year 11 students about their courses, facilities, support services and enrichment opportunities. It was a great way for Year 11 to find out about colleges and training providers they might not have considered yet and for them to plan to go to more open events. Thanks go to Blackburn College & Training 2000, Burnley College, East Lancashire Learning Group (Accrington & Rossendale College and Nelson & Colne College) and Myerscough College for their time and support. Drop-ins and application sessions will be supported by colleges and training providers through the next half term. We encourage all Year 11 students to go to at least two open events and to be pro-active in looking at their post-16 options. @BurnleyCollege @MyerscoughColl @NelsonColneColl @accrosscollege @bbcollege

Congratulations to this weeks math's stars.

This week's 'Quote of the Week'.

On Friday, our Lancashire Book of the Year participants unboxed the 28 books they'll be reading before February. Today, Miss Walsh is delighted to welcome the group to a book tasting session, where students will explore the collection, discover new favourites and choose the first title on their Lancashire Book of the Year journey!

Get ready for a fantastic Sparkle and Shine week of celebrating success at Shuttleworth College! 🎉 Between Monday 2nd and Friday 6th November we’ll be rewarding students for great attendance, excellent behaviour, and fantastic effort in lessons. Our staff will be popping into classrooms with some brilliant rewards, including Just Eat vouchers, sweets, and front-of-queue passes! 🍬🎟️🍔It’s a chance to recognise those students who are showing up, working hard, making great choices, and being the very best they can be. Keep sparkling, keep shining, and show us what you can achieve! ✨#SparkleAndShineWeek #ProudToBeSC

Thank you Bella.
