Chang is one of the most influential modern Chinese writer, known for her novels depicting life in Shanghai and Hong Kong in 1930s and 1940s.
This is a clip from her English speech delivered in 1969 at the Radcliffe Institute, Harvard University.

There are puppies being sold, dogs having three or more litters, somebody died of an overdose yesterday, another person’s RV was burnt down last week, there’s two women that are looking for housing that said the city has never come to help them… all suffering under one bridge. And this is just one area in your district, but I am seeing more and more horror happening under your bridges the more I get familiar with your neighborhood. This is absolutely disgraceful. I am demanding immediately that you target these areas, remove dogs that are being illegally bred, remove these puppies that will most certainly die, arrestdrug dealers and save the women that are living in tents that want housing.

Multiple births were often discovered only during labor, turning what was expected to be an ordinary delivery into an unforgettable surprise. For this father, the shock came not at the first cry, but when nurses introduced him to three newborn babies instead of one.
Arris Poulos and Nora Poulos became the parents of triplet boys in New York City in 1946, an event that thrust their family into newspaper headlines across the country. At a time when ultrasound technology did not exist, parents often had no way of knowing they were expecting multiple babies. What began as a routine hospital delivery became a remarkable surprise when the couple welcomed three sons: Thomas "Tommy" Poulos, Thenny Poulos, and George Poulos.
The famous photograph of Arris Poulos reacting to the birth turned the family into a symbol of an era when childbirth still held many unknowns. While the image is often shared with claims that the father fainted from shock, the real story is equally fascinating: overnight, the Poulos family went from preparing for one baby to raising three newborn boys at once. Their story remains a memorable reminder of life before modern prenatal imaging, when some of life's biggest surprises were not revealed until the delivery room.
This photograph captures the remarkable moment inside a hospital nursery. While medical staff proudly hold the infants, the overwhelmed father leans backward, reportedly fainting after realizing he had become the parent of triplets. Not sure if this is ragebait or you just really dont understand what is going on here.
So allow me to Man-splain this to you.
We have no issue with women wearing revealing workout clothing.
In fact, god-bless you for it, without that, we would be staring at sweaty guys instead of your labia.
The issue is, you want to go to the gym with your labia hanging out, then make a TikTok video all pissed that men are looking at your labia, then demand that man be canceled.
So go to the gym, work out half naked and shut the fuck up when you get the male attention you clearly want.

I just don’t get why women are so dishonest. Like — just admit that you dress like that because you want people, especially men, to think that you’re hot. And by hot I mean sexually attractive. That’s why the shorts are short and tight and scrunch up around your butt to make your butt look bigger and rounder. Why? Because you think men like big round juicy butts. You wear low-cut tops because men find breasts attractive. Cut the bullshit that you do it just for you or that it’s more comfortable because you don’t and it’s not. Just freaking own it.
And if you are going to dress like that, don’t expect people not to look because that’s specifically why you chose the outfit you did. Furthermore, don’t get mad when people you don’t think are hot hit on you. You can’t have it both ways.
Aside from it being problematic for society and relationships between men and women, thing that frustrates me the most is the dishonesty in all of it. You know why you do it, we know why you do it. I am so tired of people expecting others not to be honest about things that are blatantly/obviously/objectively true.

OCT. 9 — ERIE, PENNSYLVANIA: Eight people, including the gunman, died in a mass shooting. Victims included family members, a pregnant woman and two young children. The 45-year-old gunman also died. The motive remains unclear.

🚨Very disturbing case at the University of Wyoming. It appears to involve intellectual property theft and attempted murder.
A Chinese student was arrested at the airport while attempting to return to China. She had been recorded going thru a colleagues research notes, and taking pictures of every page. She was also caught putting something into his tea, which turned out to be poison.
The Chinese government pays people to steal research from foreign countries. In this case the research was a new treatment for cancer, so very valuable. If someone could get an exclusive patent on the technology. Could that be a motive for murder?

The reality of Skid Row is that if somebody tries to help a dog in need, what they are actually doing is “fucking with that person’s money”. The person on Skid Row that tried to help Ocean and then called the owner out for murdering him, was just attacked for being a “snitch“. So at the end of the day, the only person that got hurt was the person that was trying to help Ocean from the beginning. In another story, a homeless person that tried to call Animal Services on a litter of puppies that were being neglected, was then beat with metal pipes because the breeders didn’t want the puppies to be removed. It’s all an economy.
