The Bank Account for AI Agents. π
Today, Shore becomes agent infrastructure.
β
AI agents can already decide what to buy.
They still can't hold money safely.
Hand one a private key and it gets a wallet on every chain, no limits, and sits one injected prompt away from empty.
So we built the account agents should have had from day one.
β
One account. Every chain. Your rules.
β holds, trades and sends money across 25+ chains
β no bridges, no gas juggling, no wallet per chain
β never sees a private key, only an API key you can revoke
You set the rules:
β dollar limits per order and per day
β your approval for the big moves
β a one-tap freeze
Your agent can read them. It can never change them.
β
What your agent can do:
β trade NEAR, BTC, SOL, ETH and 100+ assets
β buy any token on Solana, Base and six more chains
β launch tokens, withdraw to you, report everything
All over MCP or REST. Connecting takes one line:
claude mcp add --transport http shore shore.markets/mcp
β
Why NEAR?
NEAR is building the blockchain for AI, and NEAR Intents lets one account settle on every chain. That's exactly what an agent needs.
Shore proved the rails: $638K traded, 509 wallets, 76% of them from outside NEAR. Then one-click swaps became everyone's feature and launchpads became a crowd.
So we went back to the drawing board. The answer was agents.
β
Paper trading is live now. Live prices, play money, same API.
Mainnet opens in 24 hours.
Give your agent a bank account π

More is coming to shore. We are working on making Shore the default layer for agent transactions and spend onchain.
This means integrations, distribution and getting to a place where agents discover and onboard to shore autonomously.
Stay tuned. We are uniquely the only platform built for omnichain agents with maximum simplicity and abstraction.
Powered by all the magic $NEAR has to offer.
Crypto is a fragmented mess.
The apps are on dozens of chains. The money is split across them. The liquidity is scattered over hundreds of pools and bridges. Every chain has its own wallet, gas token, explorer, SDK and way of failing.
Humans barely manage it. For an AI agent, it's a wall.
An agent that wants to buy a token on Solana, pay an API on Base and hold BTC needs three wallets, three gas tokens, a bridge, and someone to babysit all of it. So most agents don't touch onchain money at all.
There has never been one account and one API that gives an agent the whole onchain world.
Now there is.
Shore gives every agent a single account:
β trade any token on NEAR, Solana, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, BNB, Polygon, Optimism and Avalanche
β hold BTC, SOL, ETH and 100+ assets from one balance
β move money across chains without touching a bridge
β pay for APIs per request with x402
β one API, one key, works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or plain REST
All inside rules the owner sets: per-trade and daily caps, approvals, allowlists, a statement for every cent, and a freeze button.
Agents are about to become the most active users onchain. They shouldn't have to learn ten chains to get there.
One account. Every chain that matters. Live on mainnet now.

Zero to a paid API call, step by step. π§
1. Sign in with any EVM, Solana or NEAR wallet
2. Create an agent: paper or live, what its key can do, its limits
3. Connect it: one line for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or REST
4. Fund it with USDC or USDT on Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum or Solana
5. Set its limits: per payment, per day, which hosts it can pay
6. Let it work: it calls pay_request, Shore pays the 402 and settles
7. Watch every cent on its statement. Freeze it any time.
Start on paper, go live when you're ready π

The universal omnichain account and API for agents onchain. A single place to interact with any onchain app, protocol or token. This is $NEAR unlocked to its max potential.
Mainnet is live. π’
Shore is the bank account for AI agents, and it now runs on real money.
Give your agent its own account. It can:
β trade any token on NEAR, Solana, Base and 6 more chains
β pay for APIs with x402, in USDC (no gas on Base)
β send money only where you allow
You keep the card controls:
β per-trade and daily limits
β your approval above a threshold
β freeze it in one tap
We ran it end to end with real money before opening it up: trades, cross-chain moves and paid API calls on Base and Solana.
Next: a step-by-step walkthrough, from creating an agent to its first paid API call.

This remains such a banger article. Whenever i get scared, i read this article again, and simply BET MORE
Your agent is about to pay for things. πΈ
Shore accounts are learning x402, the open standard for paying for APIs over HTTP. It goes live with mainnet.
When an API answers "402 Payment Required", your agent calls pay_request. Shore pays the exact price in USDC from the agent's account on Base or Solana, then hands back the response.
β
A bank account should be able to pay. Shore's pays inside the rules you set:
β a max price on every call, set by the agent
β your per-payment and daily payment limits
β only the hosts you allow, if you want
β your approval above your threshold
β paid once, never retried behind your back
No private key in the prompt. No wallet to babysit. On Base, it doesn't even cost gas.
β
Data, search, inference, scraping: one account pays for all of it.
Coming live with mainnet. Paper trading is open now π

The Bank for All Agents.
Powered by @NEARProtocol.
What does "the Bank Account for AI Agents" actually mean?
Today, if you want an agent to handle money, you give it a wallet.
A wallet is cash plus a private key. Whoever holds the key can spend everything, on one chain, with no limits and no one to call. Put that key inside a prompt and you're one injection away from empty.
That's not how anyone trusts a person with money. You don't hand a new hire your seed phrase. You give them an account.
β
So that's what Shore gives your agent: an account, not a wallet.
β An account number, not a key
Your agent gets an API key you can revoke at any time. It never sees a private key, so there's nothing to leak.
β One balance, every chain
BTC, ETH, SOL, USDC, NEAR and 100+ assets in one account across 25+ chains. No bridges, no gas tokens, no wallet per chain.
β Spending limits
Dollar caps per order and per day, the markets it can trade, max slippage. Set by you, checked before every signature.
β Approvals for big moves
Anything above your threshold waits for your tap, then goes out at a fresh price.
β A freeze button
Freeze one agent or all of them. Open orders settle, nothing new starts.
β A statement
Every quote, order and transfer is logged, with errors that tell the agent whether money moved and what to do next.
β Withdrawals go to you
Agents send money to you or to addresses you allowlist, never to one someone slipped into the prompt.
β
Your agent can read its rules. It can never change them.
That's the difference. A wallet trusts whoever holds the key. A bank account trusts the rules.
Paper trading is live now. Same API, live prices, play money.

finding PMF in crypto is hard, finding pmf is hard. this is the largest update to shore yet, and the one i have the most conviction in
shore started as the place for humans to trade near tokens from any wallet. it worked: $638K traded, 509 wallets, 76% of them from outside near. then one-click swaps became everyone's feature and launchpads became a crowd, so we went back to the drawing board
the answer was agents
back in june i wrote that $NEAR's long term thesis is the runtime and co-ordination layer for agents. shore is me putting my code where my mouth is
an agent doesn't care what chain a token lives on. it needs one account, one balance, one api, and an owner who can set limits it can't touch
everywhere else, you get that by handing your agent a private key per chain, a bridge, gas on every side, and hoping nobody prompt-injects it
near is the only network where this works out of the box:
-- intents: one account that settles on 25+ chains, no bridges, no gas juggling
-- chain abstraction: the agent never holds a chain-specific wallet or key
-- years of 100% uptime and the team actually building the agent stack (near ai, private shards, confidential sends)
nobody else has all three. that's why shore could only be built on near
so shore is now the bank account for ai agents. your agent trades btc, sol, eth and 100+ assets, buys any token on solana, base and six more chains, and sends money back to you, all inside dollar limits, approvals and a freeze switch that only you control
humans needed better ux. agents need better rails. near already built them, shore makes them usable by any agent with one line

Today we are releasing the largest update to Shore ever, backed by an incredible vision: to be the single venue to trade and launch tokens on any chain with any wallet.
This means you can use your SOL wallet to trade BASE/NEAR coins or your BASE wallet to trade BNB coins, or launch coins anywhere. Your wallet and chains stop mattering.
Oh, and we're also officially partnering with @rhea_finance to support the best teams building on NEAR via our accelerator. Get in touch.
