@ShifaFoundation has concluded the third cohort of its “NUR of Tomorrow” Youth Internship Programme, equipping students from Islamabad, Rawalpindi and surrounding areas with practical skills for life, safety and leadership.
During the four-day programme at Shifa International Hospital, participants received hands-on learning in first aid, CPR, emergency preparedness, mental health, cyber safety, responsible AI use, communication, teamwork and leadership.
Coinciding with International Youth Day 2026, the initiative also encouraged volunteerism and environmental responsibility through a youth-led tree plantation drive.
Shifa Foundation says the programme aims to prepare young people to become confident, responsible and active contributors to their communities.
