The future is not something Washington hands to us. The future is something we build, together. Today, we start building. But we can’t do it alone. This campaign belongs to all of us. Join the movement, sign up to volunteer, make a contribution if you’re able, and let’s build the future together. Let’s build: shevrinjones.com/

Another year around the sun. 43 today! This season is called “renewal.” I’ve spent a lot of years asking what’s next. Today, I’m just thankful for what’s right in front of me. God has been good, and I’m getting better at enjoying it. Happy birthday to me!

Well, well, well. Would you look at the mess @ByronDonalds has made of his own gubernatorial campaign. Early polling had Byron positioned as the clear frontrunner with what looked like an easy path to the Governor’s Mansion. Tens of millions of dollars have been spent putting Byron in front of Floridians. And then Floridians started paying attention. They heard his message. They examined his record. They learned more about his wife and the charter-school business. And the more Floridians learned about Byron Donalds, the less they liked what they saw. Then the polls started ticking down. And down. And down. David Jolly agreed to two debates. Byron refused. Instead, he ran to friendly media outlets trying to dictate new terms, including debates without a live audience. Now David is telling him exactly what he needs to hear: It is not David Jolly’s responsibility to rescue Byron Donalds from the campaign Byron Donalds created. Remember, Byron refused to debate his own Republican primary opponents when he thought he was comfortably ahead. Now that he wants the stage, suddenly debates are essential? Nope. You made the rules, Byron. Now you get to live by them. You had the money. You had the name recognition. You had the Trump endorsement. You had the supposed advantage. And somehow, the more Florida got to know you, the closer this race became. That is not David Jolly’s problem. On to November.
Dem gov candidate @davidjollyfl is a no on debates with GOP’s @ByronDonalds: “It is clear, given the tenor of the current campaign environment, including Byron's repeated lies and bad faith, that debates this cycle would not create constructive, honest conversation and only further stoke division, animosity, and bad will. That's not something I wish to do for our state.”

Turning Florida blue runs through Miami-Dade County—and tonight, @MiamiDadeDems made it clear that we’re ready to do exactly that in just 44 days! Shoutout to Chair @Kelley4Florida for her leadership, dedication to this work, and for putting on an incredible Blue Gala! And the icing on the cake: my sisters @AngieNixon, our next U.S. Senator, and @Gantt4Florida, our next State Senator, were in the building!

This post by Bryon is not true. It never studied the Jolly plan. The “tax” charge was written by an insurance company who paid the consultant who wrote a blog post. Jollys plan cut insurance costs 60 percent.
Good morning, Florida! An independent study from FSU found that David Jolly’s plan would send your insurance premiums through the roof — a $1,000 Hurricanes Tax on every Florida family.  My Bring Down The Bill plan will lower insurance costs and make life more affordable.

Facts!
Calling Leader @RepJeffries or any Black man a monkey or errand boy is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable under any circumstances.

Few people embody servant leadership like @ShevrinJones. I’ve spent a week on a campaign bus with him, and I can tell you: he never stops advocating for Florida and fighting for what he believes. When he believes in something, he’s all in. We need more Dems like him in office.

Honored to have the endorsement of Congressman @RobertGarcia, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee. Robert has been a fighter for working families, holding government accountable and making sure Washington actually delivers for the people it serves. I’m grateful to have him in our corner. Our coalition is growing, our momentum is building, and we’re not slowing down.

Proud to have the endorsement of Congresswoman @SarahEMcBride. Sarah knows that public service is about more than breaking barriers, it’s about what you do with the opportunity to serve. I’m grateful that she’s standing with our campaign and believes in the experience and record I’ll bring to Congress to deliver for the people of District 24. Early voting is open in Miami-Dade and Broward. Punch #32!

Thanks for being with us this weekend!
Great day on the trail yesterday w my friend Shevrin Jones. Trump’s corruption takes money away from all that we care about. We need more folks in office that’ll be RUTHLESS to fix that!

🫡❤️❗️ Thank you, Sis!
🚨 Florida Congressional District 24 voters, I need you to listen up.🚨 Early voting has started across Florida, and if you live in CD-24, I’m asking you to vote for @ShevrinJones. Here’s why. We have watched Black representation get stripped away across the South. Florida just went through another congressional redistricting process this year, and we have seen what happens when politicians get to choose their voters instead of voters choosing their politicians. If Democrats take back the House, I want people like Shevrin Jones in Congress advocating for voting rights and fighting against the continued erosion of Black political representation. And I want him to be a voice pushing us toward a system where politicians aren’t drawing congressional districts for their own political benefit. Let Shevrin be a voice for the South. Let him advocate for communities that have lost representation and are still fighting to regain it. Because here’s the other thing we cannot forget: the next census is coming in 2030. We have four years. We can prepare for what’s coming, but we have to put the right people in place now with the right mindset to help us get over this hurdle and protect representation for our communities. CD-24, early voting has started. Go vote.
