WE WILL NOT FORGET THAT YOU WENT TO SEYI TINUBU’S EVENT!
MEN DEY!!!
Let me put this in context.
During yesterday’s teaching on expectations in relationships, we discussed what a 26-year-old woman should reasonably expect from a man at a similar stage of life.
We talked about expectations such as owning a car, having an iPhone, or receiving a monthly allowance of ₦1 million.
In the course of the conversation, a lady made a comment, and I asked her twice to repeat what she had said. The congregation echoed her response so I could hear her clearly.
This does not mean every woman in the church shares that mindset.
That moment is being interpreted in ways that miss the context of the conversation.
The point was simple: there is a difference between having standards and having expectations that may not be realistic for the stage of life you and your potential partner are in.
This was never about telling women not to have standards. It was about understanding that expectations should also be grounded in reality.

If he were of a different race, would it have been mentioned in this headline? Just saying.
Man dies after being attacked by tiger at wildlife park near Doncaster, UK, police say bbc.in/4ARweTI
I feel for the tiger; that was undue stress.
I was raised in Africa, and one thing you’re taught from a very young age is to ALWAYS respect wild animals.
If you’ve somehow made it to adulthood without understanding that climbing into an enclosure with a 250kg apex predator is a spectacularly stupid idea, then perhaps a harsh lesson in natural selection was long overdue.
That animal doesn’t care about your confidence, your intentions, or your complete lack of common sense.
You entered its territory. You challenged the food chain. And the food chain reminded you exactly where you stand.
I have absolutely zero sympathy.

Controversy Over Addressing Tinubu By His First Name.
"I think it's mark of wretched illiteracy for anybody to contemplate the issue of disrespect as it relates to relates to addressing (President Tinubu as) "Bola" by his name. He has no other name and should be called Bola”.
“I cannot prostrate to a man (Bola Tinubu) who's impoverishing me or begin to show respect or regard to a man who does not care about Nigerians' lives."
