Listen my Mom developed pulmonary embolisms after a medical emergency & ICU stay in 2007. It progressed so bad she had to have an inferior vena cava filter surgically implanted that years later came loose & traveled near her heart. She was on blood thinners the rest of her life. Shit is scary & no joke. Situation can change even with treatment.

It’s not that easy to treat blood clots or come off of blood thinners. He’ll always be at risk for developing more clots.

I do. Very difficult to come off of blood thinners & once you develop blood clots you’re always at risk for them. My Mom had blood clots that turned into PE’s. She had to have a filter surgically implanted. Then that damn thing came loose & traveled close to her heart! Blood clots are scary shit!
