We live in a country where if you lie on a form, you could lose your home. If you misspeak to an official, you could lose your benefits. If you refuse to answer a question in court, you could face prison. But what happens when they lie to us? When ministers mislead Parliament — nothing. When MPs dodge questions — nothing. When civil servants cover up mistakes — nothing. This is not democracy. It’s hypocrisy in high office. The law must not be a weapon wielded by the powerful against the powerless. It must cut both ways. If we — the people — are expected to tell the truth… Then those who govern us must do the same. If we must follow the law… Then those who make the law must not be allowed to break it with lies, silence, and spin. This is why I stand here today to demand the Duty of Truth and Clarity Act: ✅ A legal duty for all officials to speak truthfully ✅ A requirement to answer questions directly ✅ Independent oversight with real consequences for dishonesty We don’t want apologies. We want accountability. We don’t want pledges. We want penalties. We don’t want spin. We want truth. We are not their subjects. We are not their property. We are the public — and it is our consent that gives this government its power. If that consent is abused, we will revoke it. The age of deception must end. It’s time to make it illegal for politicians to lie — and to force them to answer the people they claim to serve.

If you voted Democrat and you are feeling that the election result is truly horrifying, do this one simple thing for your mental health: Write down your fears of what might happen in the next 4 years on a piece of paper. Re-read and check in on them every few months. It will be a constant source of relief to you when you see that your fears will not, in fact, come true. Then start asking why you had those fears in the first place and how you can prevent them from forming the next time.

BREAKING: Conflict of interest concerns emerge as new records reveal that Dana Walden, the host of the ABC News debate between Trump and Harris on September 10, has contributed $11,250 to Harris's attorney general race, $11,000 to her Senate campaign, and $13,900 to her 2020 White House run. Walden has also hosted fundraisers for Harris at her home in Brentwood.

Tulsi Gabbard on Bill Maher: “We shouldn’t have a draft” “The only reason we would need a draft is because our warmongering politicians are starting wars that they know the American people aren’t going to support” “To me, it’s a red flag that they’re bringing this up right now, because we have multiple wars burgeoning around the world. I’ve been deployed three times to different war zones. I don’t want to be in a foxhole next to somebody who doesn’t wanna be there. That bond and that trust that exists between servicemen and women … is so essential.” Bill Maher: “Sometimes it’s just numbers.” Tulsi Gabbard: “Well, you’re talking about life and death.” @TulsiGabbard @billmaher

The only regulation of Winchester rifles we know of was an 1893 Florida law that imposed a heavy tax on them, later expanded to handguns in 1901. Later, a 1941 Florida Supreme Court concurrence by Judge Buford, who was a member of the legislature when the tax was expanded to handguns, was shockingly frank in the reasoning for enacting this tax and who it applied to.

“Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom of Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretence, raised in the United States.” -Noah Webster, 1787

It’s a false choice to suggest you can swear an oath to uphold the Constitution and publicly violate it every chance you get. You can’t do both.

The US consumes approximately 128 MILLION gallons of diesel fuel per day, the vast majority of which is used for commercial transportation (trucks). There are 137,318 BTUs per gallon of diesel. There are only 3,412 BTUs per kilowatt hour of electricity. Therefore, you would need approximately 5,151 GIGAWATTS of electricity production PER DAY to replace the amount of fuel we use JUST FOR COMMERCIAL TRUCKING. Total US energy production is approximately 1,161 gigawatts per day. Only 4,000 gigawatts to go! Lmao.

As the author notes in a follow-up post, this figure for US energy production is too low by a factor of 10. twitter.com/FenixAmmunitio… This comparison also ignores the much higher efficiency of electricity. Most power available in gasoline/diesel is lost as waste heat. fueleconomy.gov/feg/atv-ev.sht…

I'll grant that this comes closer than the "analogues" the government claims in other cases, but it's pretty disimilar for two main reasons: 1. The army's serial number requirement applied to the guns in the army's possession, not all guns generally. The overwhelming majority of guns were not serialized, and weren't til much later. Moreover, this was not a state or federal law. 2. Even if we grant by the Supreme Court's "not a historical twin" language that the continental army's practice is sufficient to justify modern regulations, which is a stretch, it didn't apply to *parts* of guns. The American tradition has always been that individuals can make their own guns, and I don't think you defeat that through an obscure army regulation that didn't translate into state law practices.

REMINDER: Biden created the student debt crisis. The solution is simple: students who truly can't pay back their student loans should be able to have it discharged in bankruptcy court. That would also force lenders to be less predatory in their lending practices. And it would force universities to make their tuitions more affordable, as lenders refused to make risky, overly-expensive loans. But in 1978, Senator Joe Biden supported the "Middle Income Student Assistance Act", which eliminated income restrictions on federal loans to expand eligibility to all students. He then used that elimination of income restriction to warn of the threat of student debt bankruptcy, and wrote a separate bill later that year to block students from filing bankruptcy on those loans. The income restrictions were reinstated in 1981. He then went on to vote for bills which extended loan eligibility to students with no parental financial support. In 1984, Biden used his senior position in the Judiciary Committee to extend bankruptcy exemptions to vocational schools as well. And now that he's created the debt crisis that everyone with common sense warned would happen, he's trying again to use it as an excuse to assert powers that his office does not have. Because that's what politicians always do: create a crisis, and then grandstand on your suffering that he caused in order to push for more power and more of your money. To this day, he still won't push for Congress to end the bankruptcy exemption for student loans, for a very simple reason: He doesn't want the crisis to end. He wants it to worsen, so he can exploit it for more power. Read all about Biden's role in the crisis here: theintercept.com/2020/01/07/…

🧵Yesterday, while banning "assault weapons" Gov Jay Inslee (D) said "No one needs an AR-15" I asked his office when will the WA state patrol that provides his protection stop packing assault weapons that are on the list of banned firearms? This was their response and it should scare you: "As I’m sure you’re aware, the law exempts law enforcement and military because of their unique needs to be prepared for extreme contingencies. The governor was talking about daily civilian life" So rules for thee but not for me

Remember the rules ... If you illegally leak anything classified against Trump ... you're a brave whistleblower and you'll get a million dollar book deal or a job at CNN. If you illegally leak anything classified against the Biden regime, even if it proves they're lying about a war ... you'll get raided by the FBI, perp walked, slammed in the press as a traitor, and probably spend the rest of your life in prison.

Are you serious? A person slaughtered three kids in cold blood simply to become infamous and you’re blaming it on the GUN? You imbecile, you just said to anyone having the same homicidal ideations that no one will judge you for doing the same thing because we will just blame your actions on the gun. If you are the future of this country, with that type of thought process, you’ll see way more of these types of shootings. Why wouldn’t you, you’re literally giving a green light of no accountability for the actions of monsters.
It’s not the doors It’s not books It’s not CRT It’s not drag queens It’s the guns that are endangering kids.
