Absent Ann hasn’t got time for her constituents.
No one has heard from Ann Wagner. Not the press, not her constituents.
Her billionaire bank buddies probably have a direct line, but since Missourians don’t, they’ve taken to writing to the local paper.

Pete Hegseth likes to call himself the “Secretary of War.” If he wants a new made up title, he should go by the Secretary of War Crimes.

So the agency built to protect the vote got gutted by DOGE, and the Trump admin asked what was left to hack a voting machine. In secret.
Imagine if this came out about Joe Biden. Trump would call it one of the greatest crimes in American history. Full story covered in today's show, link in comments ⬇️

I don’t care what your political beliefs are. That Vivek ad is one of the most vile things I’ve ever seen, and his double down is just unconscionable. He deserves to lose for that alone.

Alina Habba was an advisor to the Attorney General, was interim US Attorney in New Jersey, and all the while was negotiating a massive bribe to get a Venezuelan billionaire a pardon.
SCOOP: Julio Herrera Velutini, a Venezuelan billionaire, really wanted a pardon. He got it not long after his daughter hired Alina Habba, a lawyer close to Trump, in a deal worth more than $50 million. Habba was also working at DOJ at the time.

This is an abhorrent attack from Vivek Ramaswamy against @amyactonoh, who is a survivor of physical and sexual abuse by her mother’s husband.
Dr. Acton overcame immense challenges to serve Ohio. She will make a tremendous governor.
Voters must send Vivek packing on November 3.

We were investigating Wedgewood for faking their data and emailed them for comment this morning, ahead of publishing the findings tomorrow. They are trying to cover up their fraud with the "we were doing a social experiment" excuse.

The polling industry needs major reform. Our statement below:
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Wedgewood Polls released this statement after FiftyPlusOne contacted them regarding evidence of fabricated poll data. They had shared fraudulent raw data the prior day and raised crowdfunding for polls presented as legitimate.

Trump on Jon Husted: "I'm studying his body. I've never studied the body of a man before. It's not my thing. Nothing wrong with it, of course. But it's never been my thing. But I looked at his ass. I said, 'His ass, shit, it's like a pile of muscle.' Then I looked at his legs and I said, 'Man, his feet are big.'"

Mallory McMorrow was done dirt by BS polling that had no function other than to demoralize her and her supporters. Democrats need to have a serious discussion about who’s funding these terrible polls and the false narratives they’re creating.

As one of the candidates featured in these polls - the infamous one in late June that showed me plummeting into single digits (which was at odds with our internals) - here's the impact of this "experiment"
- Donations dried up
- Volunteers were devastated and pleading for guidance on what to do
- Reporters hounded me with calls to drop out
Sure, a point was proven. Polling is broken. But tens of thousands of people poured their hearts, time, energy, hard-earned money into something they believed in - for a year-and-a-half, and it was treated like a game. Our volunteers gave their all. And then some. I felt like I had let so many of them down.
To be extremely clear, Michigan Democrats are locked in to beat Mike Rogers. We WILL send @AbdulElSayed to the US Senate.
But between crap like this, endless fundraising texts that drive supporters away with spammy fake deadlines and trash "match" claims, scam PACs run rampant for firms to grift without actually supporting candidates, undisclosed content creators pushing content out either misrepresenting themselves as residents of states they don't live in or hiding whether they were paid and by who so they could make a buck, and the tidal wave of dark money ads -- I hope Democrats are ready to blow up the system with campaign finance and transparency reforms.
Trust is already at an all-time low. We don't get out of this mess without rebuilding trust.
And media - who loves to ride the drama of a pollercoaster - needs to take a hard look at what's legitimate and what's not.
If this teaches us anything - DON'T GET COMPLACENT AND DON'T TRUST THE POLLS.
LOCK IN. SIGN UP FOR A CANVASSING SHIFT. LEAVE NOTHING TO CHANCE OVER THE NEXT TWO WEEKS.

The State Board of Elections’ last-minute changes to voting by mail are leading to thousands more absentee ballots being rejected this election - at a rejection rate twice as high as in 2022. It’s infuriating. North Carolinians, please make a plan to vote this year, in person if possible. And if you’re voting by mail, make sure you seal both envelopes on your ballot. Don’t let them take away your vote.

Think our effort to address the damage done by DOGE Is over?
Not at all! We just won summary judgment proving that they abused our data
And we are also litigating in fed court on behalf of the countless people they injured at USAID

I don’t give a damn if he’s gay, bisexual or whatever. But this recent flurry of talking about handsome guys, grabbing and examining their ass etc has to be a symptom of mental deterioration, releasing inhibitions he previously had. Not someone who should have the nuclear codes.
