BREAKING: .@LiveNation - the worlds largest concert promoter, will end merch cuts nationwide as part of a new program inspired by @WillieNelson called ‘On The Road Again’.
The program is expected to save musicians tens of millions of dollars per year.
They will also give club artists $1500 per show in addition to their earnings for expenses.
Merch cuts were wildly unpopular among artists and fans alike, with fans wanting to directly support their favorite acts by purchasing merch at their shows.
The program launches immediately for bands and will allow artists to keep 100% of merch profits.
