KHS First Fall Community Pep Rally was a success. Looking forward to next year’s. #OneSheldon
Much like the old postal service mantra, neither rain, nor heat/humidity, nor the occasional power outages could keep our @SheldonISD @KingHSPanthers Band from preparing for another awesome year! #OneSheldon #SheldonSparks
And KHS Band was not alone; all of our @KingHSPanthers Performing Arts have been up here this summer: Cheer, Choir, @khspantherettes, Theatre, and even MS Band have all put in the work this whole summer! #OneSheldon #SheldonSparks
Few days match the excitement of the first day with new teachers - both new to @SheldonISD and especially those new to the calling that is teaching! All of you made a great choice to be here! Thank you, @KingHSPanthers Cheer & @khspantherettes for welcoming them! #OneSheldon

I cannot begin to express how impressive the @Sheldon_Tigers / @SECAJaguars End of Year Art Show is in every way: the evidence of quality teaching, the successful student artistry and skill development, and the professionalism of the show itself! #SheldonSparks
Fortuitous timing at @KMS_Panthers where I got to witness the very end of the Dance class performances of their student-choreographed final projects! Loved seeing this balance of artistry, physicality, creativity, and hard work paying off so beautifully! #SheldonSparks
Even after a nearly week long delay, 5th Grade @LakeEagles shined in their @alleytheatre led arts integration performances of ELA standards like text features and informational texts! #SheldonSparks
@SheldonISD Fine Arts will be featured in tonight’s School Board meeting, including our honors, awards, growth data, and seniors (in person and in art show)! #SheldonSparks
Our @KingHSPanthers Fine Arts Seniors did an amazing job telling their stories, providing the evidence of our successful years and programs, and advocating for continued support of the Fine Arts! #SheldonSparks
And an additional shoutout from the Board meeting to @KingHSPanthers Art Teacher Jessica Little @littlearttchr for being the artistic consultant to our @SheldonISD Superintendent Scholar Squad’s community service and school spirit project over recycling! #SheldonSparks

Tonight was a great capstone event for the @SuperStallions @BandNull Band Program as we enjoyed the progression of band unfold with the Beginner Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble all taking the stage, including a world premiere of a new piece by JaRod Hall! #SheldonSparks
Students at @LakeEagles learning text features like descriptions, compare & contrast, and sequencing with our teaching artists from @alleytheatre in a great example of using the arts to further core academic goals! #SheldonSparks
A 4th Grade class at @LakeEagles honing both the acting chops & ELA knowledge to demo text features like heading, text, image, caption, & diagram via tableau & a living magazine with our teaching artist from the @alleytheatre in an engaging arts integrated lesson. #SheldonSparks
How else would you enjoy the weekend? @KingHSPanthers Band and I are hosting the King Music Festival band contest with some great performances from and clinics for area bands, including 2 from @SheldonISD! #SheldonSparks
