A Herculean data effort ("analysis of all available local and national timetable data in England and Wales over the last 15 years") with stark results - decline in bus services almost everywhere, some places only a fraction of 2010 services. See the interactive map via the link.

With @friends_earth I've have published data on frequency of #bus services over time based on timetables. Outside London we lost about half of services since 2008. In London services are slightly better. This is the first release but so much more to do. policy.friendsoftheearth.uk/…
