@sheffcol's fab Estates & Environmental Sustainability team at Peak Campus turned essential works into a win for wildlife with a 4โchamber swift box & solarโpowered caller
Help birds back into Sheffield's urban landscapes. Dm for advice.
Ensure swifts like 'Lucky' have a safe 'forever' nest when they return to have their own swiftlets in years to come.

Volunteers such as โฆโฆ@ChetCunagoโฉ from โฆ@SheffSwiftNetโฉ save swifts every year. Email SNPโs [email protected] to tell the SNP to embrace โฆ@markruskellโฉ swift brick amendment instead of saying no. They vote next week. #Scotland can save swifts

Iโve woken up even more furious as I process what #Labour has done. A 3 line whip to ensure swift bricks are blocked after promising to do it? What a betrayal. People power will work. Email me at [email protected] & youโll get a template to amend & use

The Lib Demโs are going to vote FOR swift bricks on Monday! โฅ๏ธThe govt is not. ๐ญโฆ.IF the Tory parliamentary peers, x benchers & ace rebel Labour Peers do, then swift brick amendment 245 will pass in the Lords. Grand Designs Kevin McCloud agrees: swift bricks should be mandated!
Weโre delighted that the BBC has featured a positive article about our recent swift brick project. ๐

We challenge Lord Krebsโ claim that Amendment 245 wonโt work. Swifts DO nest in 4โ5m buildings & need swift bricks to survive as old sites vanish
This practical step helps save swifts from extinction.
Listen to swift conservation experts!

Thanks to amazing residents, swifts - and a host of other species now - have safe places to raise their young year after year.

We are incredibly upset to learn of Steve Reedโs change of approach and will continue to campaign for the mandating of swift bricks in new developments, the best intervention to halt the catastrophic decline of our swifts.
