A couple of weeks ago I asked for recs of DIY bands which I've been slowly making my way through and GAUNTLETS was an immediate standout. It reminds me of the non-emo DIY stuff that used to thrive here. This EP Rocks! Link in original post. Give them a follow while you're at it

I hate that the internet thing to converse about is “I dislike x because” when we could all be posting the bands with 10 monthlies that we’re gatekeeping. Spread the word of good music, it can do wonders for the bands and you just might make a friend or two out of it

We’ve been LaterGator. It’s been such an incredible privilege to fit this much fun into just three years of being a band. Thank you all for being a part of it 💚

Very few people truly LOVE music as deeply as Andrew does. One of the only people in the scene I see constantly & consistently putting on for the bands he loves. He’s been working his ass off on this book for as long as I’ve known him. Pick up a copy today and support a real one.

today is the day, my book EMO REVIVAL is finally here! thanks to everyone who pre-ordered one, go get one at the lnk in my bio if you didn’t or ask your local indie bookstore to stock

had many feelings about playing the final @latergatorband show this weekend, and it was much more than i could fit in a tweet or an ig post -- this week's newsletter is about their farewell and why we should cherish the bands we have while we have them. midwesternhaikus.beehiiv.com…

my band played a funeral this weekend 🥀

it was for another band, but still, it was a farewell nonetheless
