Word out of the Saints, Browns & Giants locker rooms was JAMEIS WINSTON was each teams best QB ... but, the NFL is NOT a true meritocracy. Contractual value, cost of acquisition (draft or trade capital used), etc., all corrupt what could otherwise be a true meritocratic system.
