Recording a demo video with my voice on it has always been challenging for me.
If I talk while recording I make a blunder somewhere and have to capture the whole thing again, and if I do a voiceover after, it takes me forever to get it right.
So I built Clipdio for myself and people having similar challenges. I just record my screen muted and upload it, and it writes the script and adds the voiceover for me. There are different voices to pick from and I can even clone my own voice.
And if one line doesn't sound right I just change the words and it redoes only that line.
It also adds captions that follow every word, and I can add music and sound effects, zoom in on the important parts, cut and trim the video, and add text right inside it. There's an AI chat too, so I can just tell it the edit I want and it does it.
It's literally a full video editor, so I don't need another tool to finish the demo.

I wanted to see what would happen if Nigeria’s history, people, places, culture, struggles, beauty and chaos could all exist as one cinematic experience.
So I made it.
It starts before 1960, with the kingdoms and communities that existed across the land. It moves through colonialism, resistance, independence, the years that followed, and eventually into the Nigeria we know today.
I wanted it to feel less like reading about Nigeria and more like moving through it.
