New Mexico Planned Parenthood Center Stops Killing Babes in Abortions lifenews.com/2026/10/05/new-…
We continue working toward an Abortion Free New Mexico where every pre-born child is valued and protected.
🚨 PLANNED PARENTHOOD STOPS ABORTIONS IN SANTA FE—MONTHS AFTER REOPENING
Their own website says it plainly:
“This health center doesn’t provide abortion services.”
A separate page states abortion “isn’t offered at this health center.”
AFNM reported the Santa Fe facility’s reopening for abortions in May. Now, its website lists other services but explicitly says it does not provide abortions.
An undercover call placed by AFNM’s Tara Shaver confirmed that the Santa Fe Planned Parenthood was not currently scheduling abortion appointments. During the call, staff could not confirm whether abortion services would resume there in the near future.
This follows other developments AFNM has documented:
▪️ Planned Parenthood’s Northeast Heights location reopened in Albuquerque, then permanently closed months later.
▪️ Alamo closed its Montgomery Boulevard location and consolidated services at Southwestern Women’s Options.
▪️ Planned Parenthood’s announced Washington Street location remains unopened.
“Political ideology cannot keep an abortion facility open. New Mexico’s leaders may be determined to expand abortion, but these closures and service reductions show that political will alone cannot turn their plans into reality.”
—Bud Shaver, Executive Director, Abortion Free New Mexico

🍼❤️ CHANGE LIVES—ONE BOTTLE AT A TIME!
A huge THANK YOU to Providence Bible Presbyterian Church for hosting a Baby Bottle Drive to help replenish the Abortion Free New Mexico Life Fund!
Through our outreach at 5 abortion facilities across Albuquerque, we meet women facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives. When a mother chooses life, our commitment doesn’t end on the sidewalk. Through the AFNM Life Fund, we are able to walk alongside her with practical assistance, encouragement, and ongoing support.
And God is moving! 🙌
So far in 2026:
❤️ 11 moms supported through the Life Fund
👣 15 babies saved through our outreach
👶 6 babies born and receiving continued support
🤰 5 babies on the way and still receiving support
Real help. Real moms. Real lives.
Every bottle filled helps equip us to say to a mother who chooses life: You are not alone. We will walk with you.
🙏 “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” — Psalm 139:13–14
Thank you, Providence Bible Presbyterian Church, for partnering with us to serve moms, save lives, and build a culture of life in New Mexico!

❤️ BABY #15 SAVED! SHE CHOSE LIFE—THEN SHE WAS STRANDED.
On September 26, a mother from New Braunfels, Texas, chose LIFE for her fourth child—the 15th baby saved through Abortion Free New Mexico’s outreach this year!
She initially responded to our sidewalk team with hostility, even making an obscene gesture. But her story didn’t end there.
After coming outside and sitting in the grass, she heard our team offering hope and help to other women. Those words touched her heart. She approached us, a meaningful conversation followed, and she chose life! 🙌
According to this mother, a Texas abortion fund had arranged her travel and lodging. But after her decision, her travel voucher was canceled—leaving her stranded in Albuquerque.

Our Life Fund paid for a rental car so she could return home to Texas. Her circumstances remain difficult, but we are committed to walking alongside her in the months ahead.
🙏 Pray that she comes to know Jesus Christ, bonds with her baby, and finds strength for the road ahead. Please also pray for our sidewalk team’s safety, courage, and compassion as they respond to hostility with love.
This year, 15 babies have been saved through our outreach, and our Life Fund has helped serve 11 mothers and their families.

Undercover recording captured abortion staff at Southwestern Women’s Options (SWO) — a late-term abortion facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico, operated at the time by abortionist Curtis Boyd — telling a “healthy woman posing as 25 weeks pregnant” that they intended to “euthanize the fetus.”
As previously documented by Live Action News, the disturbing recording was released by Abortion Free New Mexico and Priests for Life.

The Abortion Free New Mexico team recently came together to share how God has been moving—on the sidewalks outside Albuquerque abortion centers, through prayer, and in one another’s lives.
We shared testimonies, encouraged one another, prayed together, and reflected on the privilege God has given us to stand for life and offer hope to mothers and families in crisis.
This ministry is about more than simply showing up. It is about bearing one another’s burdens, strengthening one another in faith, and remaining united in the mission God has placed before us.
We are deeply grateful for every faithful team member who prays, serves, speaks truth in love, and refuses to give up. God is moving—and we give Him all the glory! ✝️🙏

🚨 BREAKING: APD CONFIRMS ACTION TAKEN FOLLOWING ASSAULTS ON AFNM SIDEWALK TEAM
Abortion Free New Mexico has received official police notification confirming action involving a woman identified by APD as Randi Chavez following the September 9 incident outside Southwestern Women’s Options.
Two AFNM sidewalk team members were assaulted. Four witnesses provided statements to police, and video captures portions of the confrontation, including a full soda can striking a team member.
🎥 Before the attacks, Chavez was captured on video declaring:
“I’ve decided I’m okay with going to prison today.”
The initial physical blows were not recorded.
📲 AFNM’s video has reached nearly 100,000 views on Instagram, bringing widespread attention to the incident.
Tara Shaver, AFNM spokesperson, stated:
“You do not get to use violence to silence people because you disagree with their message. We will not be intimidated, and we will not abandon women walking into these abortion centers.”

We’ll keep showing up—because every mother matters, every baby matters, and every life is worth fighting for.
“You’re wasting your time.”
These are some of the babies whose mothers we met outside abortion clinics here in Albuquerque—and who ultimately chose life.
We know these babies aren’t here because of us. They are here by the grace of God. ✝️ God is the One who changes hearts, and He allows us the privilege of showing up, praying, speaking truth in love, and offering mothers and fathers hope and practical support.
So, are we wasting our time?
We don’t think so. 🙏
Please share this with your church, family, and friends—and bring someone with you tomorrow!
🙏 TOMORROW: NEW MEXICO, STAND IN THE GAP FOR LIFE
As part of the Spiritual Defense Coalition, Abortion Free New Mexico is joining believers, churches, organizations, families, and communities across our state tomorrow for one purpose:
TO PRAY.
And there is so much to bring before God.
Just this week, AFNM exposed a new Planned Parenthood abortion center preparing to open in Albuquerque—at the same address as its TEEN’MPower youth program.
Then, our sidewalk team was violently attacked while ministering outside an Albuquerque abortion facility. During the confrontation, the woman declared on video:
“I’VE DECIDED I’M OKAY WITH GOING TO PRISON TODAY.”
These developments should do more than concern us. They should drive us to our knees.
Tomorrow, September 12 from 9:00–10:30 AM, we will pray for unborn children, mothers and babies, protection for young people, safety and courage for sidewalk teams, changed hearts among abortion workers, wisdom for our leaders, and a culture of life throughout New Mexico.

🙏 Different Cities. One State. One Purpose: Prayer.
As part of the Spiritual Defense Coalition, Abortion Free New Mexico is joining New Mexicans across the state for a Statewide Day of Prayer for Life on September 12.
The urgency is clear. Our latest investigation exposed a new Planned Parenthood abortion center opening alongside Teen’MPower, a youth program engaging teens on gender identity, sexuality, and related issues. Meanwhile, taxpayer-funded reproductive health centers are moving forward in Las Cruces and northern New Mexico, with plans that include abortion and transgender healthcare, including gender-transition surgeries.
🚨These developments should do more than concern us. 🙏 They should drive us to our knees.
On September 12 from 9:00–10:30 AM, New Mexicans across the state are coming together for a Statewide Day of Prayer for Life.
From Las Cruces to Clayton, Albuquerque to Santa Fe, Farmington to Gallup and Rio Rancho, communities are stepping forward to stand in the gap and cover New Mexico in prayer.

This isn’t about one organization.
It isn’t about one church, one city, or one leader.
It’s about people across our state joining together in prayer for women and children, families in difficult circumstances, those serving on the front lines, our leaders, and the future of New Mexico.
We believe this moment calls for more than frustration.
🙏 It calls for faith.
🔥 It calls for courage.
🤝 It calls for unity.
🙏 And it calls us to prayer.

Why does Planned Parenthood believe this belongs on a back-to-school checklist?
🚨 THIS LOOKS LIKE A PIMP’S CHECKLIST—BUT IT’S PLANNED PARENTHOOD’S “BACK-TO-SCHOOL” MESSAGE TO YOUNG PEOPLE.
Their own checklist tells students to:
🎒 Stock condoms in your bag, “just in case”
❗ “Practice enthusiastic consent”

Why does Planned Parenthood believe this belongs on a back-to-school checklist?
Why are young people being told to “practice” sexual consent?
Tara said it plainly:
“The fact that Planned Parenthood is targeting young people with this perverse agenda is deeply disturbing.”

🔥 Parents need to see this. TARGETING THE NEXT GENERATION!
The fact that Planned Parenthood is targeting young people with this perverse agenda is deeply disturbing.
🚨 BREAKING: AFNM CONFIRMS NEW PLANNED PARENTHOOD ABORTION CENTER ALONGSIDE TEEN’MPOWER YOUTH PROGRAM
Planned Parenthood isn’t just opening another abortion center in Albuquerque. Look at who they’re targeting.
At the same Washington Street address, Planned Parenthood operates TEEN’MPower, a program for youth ages 13–18.
And look at the messaging being promoted to young people.
📚 In a recent “Back to School” post, Planned Parenthood’s checklist tells students to:
➡️ Know the location of their nearest Planned Parenthood
➡️ “Stock condoms in your bag, just in case”
➡️ “Practice enthusiastic consent”
➡️ Locate mental-health resources on campus
➡️ Download Planned Parenthood Direct
➡️ Build their “community”
Meanwhile, TEEN’MPower offers free food, games, activities and $20 gift cards—including Roblox gift cards—for participation.
AFNM called the program directly. What we were told makes the connection even more disturbing: a TEEN’MPower representative said the new Planned Parenthood location will provide medication abortions.
🔥 TARGETING THE NEXT GENERATION!
“I called TEEN’MPOWER directly. Their representative told me youth would receive $20 gift cards, including Roblox gift cards, for participating—and that the new Planned Parenthood location would provide medication abortions.
