The @CityBrampton is working closely with CUPE Local 831 to reach a fair contract for City of Brampton employees.
In the event of a labour disruption by CUPE, some services may be impacted, resulting in reduced capacity or temporary cancellations. Residents are encouraged to stay up to date as we work toward a resolution.

As of this morning, @CUPE831 City of Brampton workers are on strike.
Workers deserve fair compensation.
What's missing in most talk about the brampton #cupe831 strike is that these offers put forward also included a limiting and removal of protective equipment allowances in a union with by law officers, forestry, roads and theatre workers @CityNewsTO @insauga @CTVNews @CBCNews

Canadians are mostly terrified & dreading a Trump victory but they’ll vote for Con premiers & potentially Poilievre as PM? As much as I can’t stand Trump, I can’t stand Poilievre even more.
Trump = Poilievre
Republicans = Canadian Conservatives
Same crap, different countries.

It took several days to count every ballot in 2020, and it’s very likely we won’t know the outcome tonight either. So please keep a few things in mind as you make your voice heard today:
– Thousands of election workers around the country are working hard today. Respect them. Thank them.
– Don’t share things before checking your sources.
– Let the process run its course. It takes time to count every ballot.
