Most all of us have seen the 1st picture of Hugo Bezdek's 1909 Arkansas team. In it, Bezdek is wearing a C on his jersey. Some have said that the C must be for Coach. Here's some clarity. #WPS

I love statistics. In Jan, I took control of our office.Stats guide work efficiency. By June, mnthly income was up 50% over last year. Unknowns could've turned a lot of money & work into break even. When courage is required, letting stats drive the decision shirks responsibility.
Arkansas plays its absolute best game of the season and loses by 7 to a Tennessee team using a backup QB on the road and turned the ball over 3 times. Keep it in perspective.

Hogs have run the ball 30 times today using 6 rushers with a 4.5 average. By my math that's 13.5 yards every three plays. 8 receivers have caught passes today with KJ throwing at 65%. This is liveable if continued.
One thing the film showed was that Arkansas was capable of running the football when the offensive line had a blocking scheme which gave them the chance to succeed, ie when angles were right, when the play was north-south, when the back hit the hole before having to cut.
The quickest way to success in football is a decent defense. The Hogs are playing alright today so far. I'm not sure Tennessee's offense isn't anemic but it's working so far today until this tweet goes out.
