Our 2024 MoU with @CavertonGroup took another step forward yesterday with the commissioning of the NASCAV Drone Training Centre at AFIT, Kaduna. With two cohorts of drone pilots and our #SHEFLY all-women pilots already trained, we are building Nigerian expertise for agriculture, infrastructure and security. This is our #3Cs approach in action. I thank President @OfficialABAT for his continued support, and HE Gov @ubasanius and HM @MODInfoNg General Christopher Musa, for their support and attendance. My appreciation also goes to the Emir of Zazzau, the Nigerian Air Force, AFIT, Caverton, the NASCAV team, our instructors, pilots and host community. #InfinitePossibilities #NASCAV #KSH
I signed an MoU between @NASENIHQ and @CavertonGroup with the aim of establishing, in Nigeria, a Drone Assembly Plant, a Drone Training School, and a Service Center for helicopters. This partnership with Caverton will yield significant outcomes in job creation, skilling, industrialization, and the development of Nigeria's aviation industry. At NASENI, we're always keen to engage with stakeholders and opportunities at the cutting edge of technology and innovation in Nigeria. That's why I’m very excited about this partnership with Caverton, one of the leading players in Nigeria's and Africa's aviation industry. #ksh #ANewNASENI

In a major push for food security, the Federal Government has set up a technical committee to immediately accelerate livestock development and staple crop production nationwide. Specifically, the committee is to expedite action on strategic interventions in the agricultural sector, targeting wheat and other staple crop production as well as livestock development. The Vice President, Senator @KashimSM, constituted the committee on Tuesday during a high-level meeting on agricultural sector performance and strategic interventions at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. Senator @KashimSM charged members of the committee to cross-pollinate ideas and come up with a blueprint on implementing strategic interventions in the agricultural sector. The meeting came as a sequel to a larger meeting with President @officialABAT last week, where agricultural and other multi-sector stakeholders were present.

When I walked into the hall yesterday and saw the young men and women of the City Boy Movement @CityBoyMedia, Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria @RelaxTIFN, and other youth groups gathered from across our country, I saw something that reminded me why I sought the presidency of this great nation. I saw Nigeria. I saw its energy, its courage, its determination, and the future we are working to build together. Many of you have stood with me through difficult moments. You have defended your convictions, carried our message into communities, and continued to believe in the promise of a greater Nigeria. I listened to your stories with immense pride and gratitude. You reminded me once again that the greatest strength of our nation lies in its people, especially its young people. There are words I do not say often enough, and yesterday, I wanted you to hear them directly from me. Thank you. Thank you for believing. Thank you for standing with me. I remain committed to building a Nigeria worthy of your faith, your sacrifices, and your aspirations. Together, we will deliver the future you deserve.

I was delighted to welcome the leadership and members of the City Boy Movement, @CityBoyMedia, to the State House yesterday evening. Together with the Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria @RelaxTIFN team and other youth support groups from across the country and the diaspora, we shared a warm and personal evening. Since 2022, and for three years, you have defended this administration in the markets, on campuses, in motor parks and on social media, often when it was unpopular to do so. You understood why difficult decisions had become necessary and why Nigeria could not keep borrowing to postpone them. I have seen your commitment, and I will never forget it. What the Movement has built deserves recognition. Over 4.8million verifiable members, organised across our states and local governments, reaching into wards and polling units. A contact centre speaking with young Nigerians every day. Through City Boy Care, you are supporting members in their communities. I was particularly impressed by the launch of #AskCityBoy, which uses super intelligence to help Nigerians understand what their government is doing through simple, everyday conversation. As the Speaker of the House, @Speaker_Abbas, observed, you have built a Movement prepared to answer Nigerians’ questions wherever they are. I am proud of you. I encourage every Nigerian, including our critics, to visit askcityboy.com and ask the questions that matter to you. To Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria, your name carries a promise. I appreciate the conviction with which you have taken that message across our country. Your confidence in me carries a responsibility I take seriously. Our reforms must translate into better opportunities for Nigerians and greater security for our families. Through NELFUND, students can pursue their education with financial support. CREDICORP is expanding access to consumer credit, while 3MTT is helping Nigerians acquire skills for a changing economy. We will keep extending these opportunities. The coming election concerns the future we are building together. Get your PVC and encourage your neighbours to get theirs. Organise peacefully and lawfully. Take our record to Nigerians and make your case with conviction. To my son Seyi, who started this quietly and without asking for a title, you have only started. There is much more you can do for our people, and I expect you to keep going. To everyone who has given their time and resources to this Movement, I appreciate you. Your hope, my hope, has been renewed. Thank you. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President

The Vice President, Senator @KashimSM, has said the growing northern support for President @officialABAT’s re-election is not a blank cheque, and the administration will earn it through facts, radical transparency and measurable results. Speaking directly to the political stakes, he maintained that expanding loyalty in the region demands greater accountability and an honest dialogue with citizens about ongoing reforms undertaken by the @officialABAT administration. Senator @KashimSM, who spoke on Saturday in Abuja when he unveiled the Arewa for Asiwaju Campaign Head Office and formally inaugurated the campaign structure of the northern think tank, expressed a firm belief that the North has spoken with a resounding voice and unmistakable conviction in its support for the President. According to him, renewed political confidence should never be taken for granted, as the government and its supporters must continue to engage Nigerians on the basis of facts and demonstrate how the ongoing reforms are improving security, livelihoods, and economic opportunity. “By now, I believe the North has spoken. We have spoken with a resounding voice and unmistakable conviction. From Adamawa to Zamfara, from Borno to Niger, we have spoken. Such confidence places an obligation upon us that no officeholder should ever underestimate,” he stated.

The Vice President, Senator @KashimSM, has called on Governor @biodunaoyebanji to honour the sacred verdict of the Ekiti electorate by raising the bar of governance and prioritising youth empowerment in his second term. According to him, the governor will justify the people’s mandate if he keeps faith with citizens whose voices are not often heard, maintaining that the Ekiti people have weighed the record before them and issued their judgment in Oyebanji’s favour. Representing President @officialABAT on Friday at Governor Oyebanji’s second-term inauguration in Ado-Ekiti, Senator @KashimSM framed the event’s joy as a paradox: the louder the applause, the greater the obligation it announces. He acknowledged that the governor earned his second term through his capacity to listen without succumbing, his courage to take decisions, and his display of “composure, respect for institutions, and a refusal to mistake public office for personal grandeur”—qualities he described as uncommon virtues.

Ahmed Ningi took the photograph; @omonlakiki , you are the one associating it with bandits or Boko Haram. Is that honestly the best comeback you could come up with? If every photograph of a politician engaging with Fulani people is now evidence of a meeting with terrorists, then what does that say about your own principal, Atiku Abubakar, who is also Fulani? Does his ethnicity make him a terrorist or a bandit? Of course not! You have now resorted to stereotyping the ethnic nationality of your own principal. By your logic, ordinary engagement with members of an ethnic community becomes grounds for associating people with criminality. That is a dangerous and unacceptable standard to promote. The photograph was taken by my colleague, Ahmed Ningi, during Shettima’s tenure as Governor of Borno State. If you have evidence that the people pictured were terrorists, present it. Otherwise, stop manufacturing allegations from an image. And here is the irony: you want Fulani people to support your principal while promoting a narrative that associates their ethnic identity with banditry and terrorism. How do you expect people to trust a political movement whose representatives use such insinuations? You cannot demand respect for Atiku’s identity while casting suspicion on Shettima for engaging with people of the same ethnic nationality. Paul Ibe, political differences should never come at the expense of fairness, logic and common sense. Come on, grow up. Debate the facts, not people’s ethnicity. – at Jidu, Nigeria
How did a notorious Boko Haram terrorist gain access to the official residence of a sitting governor? Vice President Kashim Shettima cannot escape questions about an extraordinary incident that occurred while he governed Borno State between 2011 and 2019. In January 2012, security operatives arrested Kabiru Sokoto, a Boko Haram operative subsequently convicted over the deadly Christmas Day 2011 bombing of St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Madalla, at the Borno State Governor's Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja. Read that again. A man subsequently convicted for his involvement in one of Nigeria's most horrifying terrorist attacks was arrested at the official lodge of the governor of the state that was the epicentre of Boko Haram's bloody insurgency. The Shettima administration had denied knowing the suspect and attributed his presence to a serious security breach. But an official denial does not eliminate the legitimate questions arising from such an extraordinary incident. Who authorised access to the lodge? Who accommodated the visitors? What did subsequent investigations establish? Were any officials sanctioned? And why has the full account of this troubling episode not been placed before Nigerians? These are questions of public accountability, not religious or ethnic prejudice. Under Shettima's eight-year governorship, Borno witnessed some of the darkest chapters of the insurgency, including the April 2014 abduction of the Chibok schoolgirls. Today, Shettima occupies the second-highest office in the Federal Republic. Nigerians are entitled to ask what lessons were learned from the failures of that period and why, despite years of military operations and enormous public expenditure, terrorism continues to threaten communities in the North-East. Nigerians deserve the full records of the Kabiru Sokoto investigation, an explanation of the security failures at the Borno Governor's Lodge, and a transparent accounting of the decisions that shaped the fight against Boko Haram. Mr Vice President, public office does not confer immunity from difficult questions. The victims of Boko Haram deserve justice. Nigerians deserve answers. And those who governed at the height of the insurgency, including you, must be prepared to account for their stewardship, of how your actions and inactions may have enabled terrorism in our country. The blood of innocent Nigerians must never be reduced to a footnote in the political careers of their leaders.

The Vice President, Senator @KashimSM, has said Nigerian students must have a voice in national decision-making, insisting that young Nigerians should be regarded as stakeholders in the country’s present, not merely its future. He said the administration’s interventions, particularly the student loan programme and sustained attention to the welfare of academic staff, are designed to keep young Nigerians in school, reduce the financial burden on families and prevent recurring strikes from disrupting learning. Senator @KashimSM stated this on Wednesday while receiving a delegation of national student leaders from across Nigeria at the State House, Presidential Villa, Abuja. He noted that Nigerian students must transition from future prospects to active architects of today’s national policy. “We do not need you for politics. We need you because you are the future of this country. What we have done differently is to give you a place in its present. There is no way to rebuild Nigeria without a place for the Nigerian student at the table where decisions are made,” he stated. The Vice President said President @officialABAT is determined to sustain a more stable academic calendar across Nigeria’s tertiary institutions by deepening reforms in education financing, student welfare and engagement with lecturers.

In the bid to strengthen legal processes and expedite criminal prosecutions, President @officialABAT has asked the judiciary to dismantle the procedural loopholes and flawed prosecution tactics that allow for the escape from justice. He demanded an aggressive overhaul of the justice system to ensure that no well-connected individual can manipulate technicalities to evade the full, crushing weight of the law. Speaking on Tuesday in Abuja during the annual EFCC/NJI Capacity Building Workshop for Judges and Justices, the President, who was represented by his deputy, Vice President @KashimSM, urged the judiciary to interrogate existing statutory frameworks against the backdrop of emerging financial crimes. “Probe prosecution strategies, dismantle outdated precedents, and seal procedural gaps that politically exposed persons and organised crime actors exploit to delay or frustrate trial,” he stated. The Nigerian leader warned that while financial and economic crimes pose an existential threat to Nigeria, corruption has no respect for status and spares no arm of government.

My biggest fear!!! Fake drugs. This menace must be dealt with, and fast. People are literally dying, including children. Worse still, it's not just drugs alone.
I know fake drugs in Nigeria is a problem, but what I heard today from a very reliable doctor, really scared me and made me sad. They found fake chemotherapy drips that was essentially water being administered to patients

The Vice President, Senator @KashimSM, has issued a rallying cry to the North for President @officialABAT’s re-election in the 2027 presidential election, declaring that the region has absolutely nothing to fear from a second term for the President. With urgent intensity, he implored northern leaders and citizens to unite behind the President’s re-election bid, framing the administration’s second-term agenda as a secure, bulletproof guarantee for the region’s future prosperity and stability. Senator @KashimSM made the call on Monday when he received, on a courtesy visit, a delegation from Arewa for Asiwaju (A4A), @Arewa4Asiwaju – a northern-based think tank working for the re-election of President Tinubu. He called on leaders across the region to unite into a single front and work for the progress of the area and the well-being of its people, which are top priorities for the @officialABAT administration.

The Vice President, Senator @KashimSM, has reaffirmed the commitment of the administration of President @officialABAT to implementing high-impact policies and programmes designed to uplift women in every sector of society. He said the administration is shattering barriers to unleash an unstoppable wave of women’s empowerment across Nigeria, a decision he said is premised on the conviction that women are the backbone of every nation and the livewire of economic activities in every society. The Vice President stated this on Monday when he received in audience the Nigerian Women for Tinubu/Shettima 2027 (NWFTAS 2027), an All Progressives Congress (@OfficialAPCNg) women’s support group for the re-election of President @officialABAT and his deputy, led by its Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT), High Chief (Dr.) Bisola Sodipo Edwin Clark, and National Coordinator/Convener, CSI Elsie Morgan Mangai (Rtd). He commended the group for its orderly disposition and structured national profile, assuring the women of the administration’s continuous support for its activities and programmes.
