Moneyball wasn’t really about certain stats or analytics. It was about finding cheap players who were cheap because the league didn’t properly value their skills. In moneyball it was OBP/walks, plus focusing on statistical production rather than how a player is supposed to look There are infinite flavors of moneyball, and they’re constantly changing
