Over 30,000 people out in Botswana's 🇧🇼 biggest stadium to welcome Letsile Tebogo!🤯
This is what the country's first Olympic GOLD means to them.
They got a second public holiday in a week as well for this.

4TH AT THE OLYMPICS IN THE 100M ❤️🔥
Sooooo close, I really gave it my allll tonight!!!
Stepped up when it matters and did myself proud, last place in the final in Tokyo, 4th place today. I’ve come a long way.
One thing about me, I’m gonna keep pushing🫶🏾

🇱🇨 For those new track fans who may be unfamiliar with St. Lucia's Julien Alfred because she wasn't featured in the first season of SPRINT on Netflix.
This isn't a shocker to track and field fans. She was the NCAA champion out of @TexasTFXC last year and then finished 5th in the 100m at last year's World Championships – missed the medals by .16 seconds.
This year, she became the World Indoor champion at 60m and has been improving each time out. She has one of the best starts in the world and it delivered today.
Now, she's the fastest woman in the world.
10.72 to win Olympic gold in the 100m.

On behalf of Jamaica and the rest of the Caribbean. We thank you, Julien Alfred.
Here they go messing with the long jump again. What’s the point of practicing consistency on the runway now? So much can be said about this nonsense but I’ll save my thoughts for another time 🙄
Go to the Dr and get your check ups! Don’t wait till your body starts showing symptoms. That’s too late🙏🏾❤️

Just some quick reflection post world champs! You can ask difficult questions while being personalble and respectful. When Fred stopped to talk, first question asked to him was “what happened out there”. It was dead silent and Fred ignored him.
