Shapiro Inauguration

The Shapiro-Davis Inauguration is union made.

Our vision of a stronger community won’t build itself on its own, it’ll take each of us putting in the work — and the ingredients. Glad to join our friends in Philadelphia to accomplish that work together to ensure our community is fed this weekend of service.

My family and I are spending this weekend before the inauguration doing community service across Pennsylvania. You can join us by getting in the game in your own community — and we hope you do.

In Pennsylvania, we know the power of taking action through service, and that a movement is more powerful than an individual. That's why it's so important to me and my family that ahead of my inauguration, we spend time giving back in every part of our Commonwealth.

The most fitting way to spend this weekend is by honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through service. Glad to spend time with my family and friends to pitch in and do our part in Pittsburgh.

See you on Tuesday, @WizKhalifa, @SmokeyRobinson, and Mt. Joy.

I’m proud to nominate this well qualified, bipartisan group of public servants — Rick Siger, Mike Carroll, Pat Browne, and Sarah Hammer will bring new energy to Pennsylvania. I’m confident they’ll help make us a national leader in innovation, manufacturing, and job creation.

Real freedom won in Pennsylvania. Now, it's time to get to work to see through a new beginning for our Commonwealth.

I've delivered as your Attorney General, and you hired me as your Governor to keep delivering. I'm ready to get to work for your neighbors, your family, and your community. I'm ready to work for you.

Akbar and Mike have decades of public service experience between them — and they’ll be critical to crafting a policy agenda that meets Pennsylvanians’ needs and building a broad coalition in support of it. I’m proud to have them on my team.

Our Commonwealth's challenges will not disappear overnight, but the start of this new year is a new beginning for Pennsylvania. I'm hopeful for our future, and I'm ready to serve as your next Governor. Happy New Year, Pennsylvania.

Joseph, Lindsey, Danielle, Michael, Sam, and Tori are accomplished individuals and I’m proud they’re joining my team as Deputy Chiefs of Staff. I’m confident they’ll bring people together and represent our entire Commonwealth. They’ll be ready on Day One.

I want to know who’s going above and beyond in your community — and I want to invite them to join me on Inauguration Day. Nominate your Hometown Hero to our Inauguration Contest Series. I can’t wait to meet them: shapirodavis.org/contests

Akbar Hossain is the embodiment of the American Dream — and I’m proud that he’s leading our Transition team. inquirer.com/news/transition…

From our family to you and yours, we hope you have a very Happy Hanukkah!

Our family visited the Governor’s Residence for the first time today. It’s incredibly humbling to be in the People’s House, and the Wolfs and residence staff have been beyond gracious and welcoming. We’re ready to serve.

Our Inaugural Store is live! We have a limited series of commemorative items for sale to celebrate a new beginning for Pennsylvania. Grab something before Inauguration Day: shapirodavis.org/shop

We’re planning a number of opportunities for you to get involved in our Inauguration. As those opportunities are released in the coming days, I want you to be the first to know about them. Text INAUGURAL to 32210.

We’re building an Inaugural Committee that’s going to see through a historic celebration right here in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. And we want you to get involved. Keep an eye on shapirodavis.org for more details.
