🚨 BREAKING: 2.94 TRILLION $QUBIC STOLEN!
1,404 wallets drained after an attacker exploited weakly generated recovery seeds. 😳
⚠️ IMPORTANT: The Qubic blockchain itself was NOT hacked or exploited. The vulnerability was in wallet seed generation.
🔵 Qubic coordinated an emergency network halt to contain the attack.
🔴 87.1% of stolen funds remain frozen on-chain, while MEXC froze the account receiving the rest.
🔵 Investigators have also identified another 500–600 potentially vulnerable seeds.
🔵The wallet vulnerability has since been patched, and recovery efforts are underway.
🔐 This raises a BIG question: How many other wallets could have weaknesses in how their recovery seeds are generated?
When I first got my @hashwallet I moved my QUBIC to my separate HashWallet address rather than importing my old seed. With independently generated secure keys, this protects me against the original seed vulnerability. If not, for sure today I also would of been wiped.

$QUBIC is putting its compute to work on protein simulation.
Proteins are the tiny machines that run life. Their shape and movement decide how they work, how drugs bind to them, and how diseases progress. Simulating that accurately is one of the hardest problems in science — normally requiring massive supercomputers and weeks of calculation.

$QUBIC borrowed an idea from ants, and it is more than thirty years old.
In the early 1990s, researcher Marco Dorigo introduced ant colony optimization. The principle: an ant that finds a good path leaves a trail, and the ants that follow take it and reinforce it. None of them sees the big picture, yet the colony finds the way.
Qubic mining follows the same logic. Miners search for small neural networks: 64 neurons with three states, 0, 1 or unknown, each connected to three others. A miner starts from an existing network, sometimes one found by another member of its pool, mutates it, explores, then refines. Its result is only kept if it strictly beats its starting point.
With one major difference: the memory is not a pheromone. It is the record of accepted networks, which miners in the same pool extend together.
And that record can be verified. Any node can replay a recipe and must get exactly the same score. A false result costs the Computor who publishes it a deposit of one million QU.
Honesty check: these networks are still tiny, and their task is a benchmark, not general intelligence. Each epoch also starts again from a fresh root: progress accumulates over the week, not from one week to the next.
But the principle is set: computation that, hour after hour, no longer starts from scratch. Miners who, like ants, extend the same trail.

$QUBIC could be building a Bitcoin prediction edge worth billions if it can prove these results are real 👀
I randomly opened several Bitcoin prediction solutions on the Qubic ANN Explorer.
65.50%
64.82%
64.70%
All three were scored against 8,760 historical Bitcoin hourly moves.
So what would a genuine, repeatable 65%+ directional edge actually be worth?
→ Hedge funds could improve long/short positioning
→ Quant firms could feed it into trading strategies
→ Trading bots could improve entries and exits
→ Asset managers could use it as another market signal
→ Exchanges could use it for analytics and risk management
And this is where Qubic gets really interesting.
Bitcoin uses enormous amounts of electricity to solve cryptographic puzzles that secure the network.
Qubic is trying to make its mining computation do something more: search for useful AI models while securing the network.
BPP-9000 searches for Bitcoin prediction models, while the newer Ant Colony approach allows promising discoveries to build on previous solutions.
The important caveat:
These are historical backtests. They do NOT prove a 65%+ live trading edge.
But if Qubic eventually discovers a model that can maintain that kind of accuracy on live, unseen Bitcoin data, the value of that intelligence could be enormous.
