I am a legit Fever fan. If she just said “I fucked up the other night. I shoulda defended Sophie (MY PLAYER) and not DJ so I get why our fans our pissed at me” maybe I can accept the apology. But this didnt really feel like an apology. More her yelling at us for trying to divide the locker room or something. Like blaming us for DJ tweeting “white privilege” in the locker room. That’s what is dividing people. Fever fans and players get blamed for everything under the sun. We’re not trying to divide anybody but its Fever vs the world and we want a coach who feels and acts that way

The whole idea of "incompetent to stand trial" is fucking nonsense. If you're too "incompetent" to understand that you shouldn't butcher an innocent woman on the train, you should die. Period. Arrest, convict, execute. You are not fit to be a part of human society. How many more innocent people must we sacrifice for the sake of coddling and babying the absolute scum of the Earth? The same article over and over and over again is not going to make your argument more compelling. Empathy becomes toxic when it causes you to affirm sin, validate lies, and support destructive policies. This isn’t hard, it is obviously true, and you don’t have to pretend to disagree with it anymore.
The problem isn’t with empathy, which is a vital human virtue, but rather in its selective application. Just as we wouldn’t call love a sin because we might be stingy in our love, empathy isn’t a sin because its application is incomplete.

Public safety is not a political game.
You do not label someone a narco-dictator one year and then pretend he is no longer a threat the next simply because a different president is in office. That is cynical and irresponsible.
Maduro’s drugs have killed thousands of Americans and continue to endanger our children. Imagine being the parents of 2-year-old Nicholas Feliz Dominici, who died from fentanyl poisoning in a Bronx daycare, and watching this political theater.
America is safer today because Maduro is no longer in power.

Donald Trump’s actions in Venezuela do not make America safer, stronger, or more affordable.
That Maduro is a brutal, illegitimate dictator does not change the fact that this action was both unlawful and unwise. We’ve seen this movie before. Wars for regime change or oil that are sold as strength but turn into chaos, and American families pay the price.
The American people do not want this, and they are tired of being lied to.
This is not about drugs or democracy. It is about oil and Donald Trump’s desire to play the regional strongman. If he cared about either, he wouldn’t pardon a convicted drug trafficker or sideline Venezuela’s legitimate opposition while pursuing deals with Maduro’s cronies.
The President is putting troops at risk, spending billions, destabilizing a region, and offering no legal authority, no exit plan, and no benefit at home.
America needs leadership whose priorities are lowering costs for working families, enforcing the rule of law, strengthening alliances, and — most importantly — putting the American people first.
