There's a program out there called Indigenous Books For Indigenous Kids, that gets literature out to kids who might not have access. Absolutely delighted to be a part of it. Learn more! instagram.com/p/DbHK-SKyeSC/
I've decided to write more just to participate more!
Two unrelated, coincidental facts:
1: I have a wedding to go this summer.
2: There's a farm literally called Ostrichland 45mins away from where I live.
Now where can I rent one of those long trailers they put horses in...
Donald Trump wants to make his birthday (June 14) a national holiday. Since that's already Flag Day, I propose making today, April 1, Trump Day.
Why? Because there's no bigger fool out there than him, for just so many, many reasons. Happy Trump Day everyone!

Things I learned today -Today is Native Woman's Equal Pay Day. It takes Native women 21 months to earn what white men earn in 12 months due to the disparity in pay. This holiday encourages us to raise awareness on such a topic and recognize the numerous struggles that women face.

Hey, this a message to all Indigenous theatre artists out there with something to say but nowhere to say it. The Nogojiwanong Indigenous Fringe Festival in Peterborough is putting the call out for performing and visual artists to come and strut their stuff this June.
I had friends ask me how I thought the Series would go and I said "Either the Jays get swept, or they'll push the series to it's max, there's no in between with this year's team".
From last place last year all the way to extra innings in Game 7. This game can break your heart...
IMPORTANT WORLD SERIES UPDATE: Colonel Sanders, founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken, is in attendance for tonight's game!
He looks pretty good for someone who's 135 years old... and died in 1980. Perhaps he's actually a ghost. 'Tis the season and all...

I AM not CHARLIE KIRK.
I believe empathy matters,
that immigrants make us great,
that diversity makes us better,
that whiteness is not supreme,
that women aren’t inferior,
that Christians should actually love their neighbors,
that the world is bigger than America.

Aaaand... the Leafs are out. Again. But there's always next year, right? Always...
There's something Sisyphean about being a Leafs fan, that each new season will The One... then it's Deja Vu all over again, except it's not your liver being plucked out, it's your heart. (le sigh)

"The supportive housing picture in Hamilton is starting to improve. [Cubitt] pointed to four projects, two with Indwell, one with the YWCA, and one with Sacajawea, that combined, will provide nearly 200 units of affordable housing."
