I also found helpful to match my study topic for that week/month to be the close to the rotation I was on. It is always helpful to diagnose/treat a patient with a condition at the hospital and later review the material and do questions at home. Easier to study and to memorize! /2

11. Charge nurses are the best people in the world! Tell them the big-picture plan for all the patients, especially if someone is discharging.
Also, if you are worried about a patient and need a big workup -- tell the charge. They may be able to recruit extra hands to help.
