The English Synod of Hatfield, a regional council from 679 or 680, explicitly affirms "the Holy Ghost proceeding from the Father and the Son in an ineffable manner, as those holy apostles, prophets, and doctors, whom we have above-mentioned, did declare."
St. Bede the Venerable (A.D. 673-753), in his Ecclesiastical History of the English People, explains the background to the Synod:
"Wherefore, Pope Agatho, being desirous to be informed concerning the state of the church in Britain, as well as in other provinces, and to what extent it was clear from the contagion of heretics, gave this affair in charge to the most reverend Abbot John, then appointed to go to Britain. The synod we have spoken of having been called for this purpose in Britain, the Catholic faith was found untainted in them all, and a copy of the same given him to carry to Rome."

Please pray for the Pope!
Dear friends, during some recent medical examinations, the doctors found a small, localized nodule in my lung. It was detected at a very early stage and is well-localized. The doctors believe that it is best to intervene, so, following their advice, I have decided to undergo surgery to remove it. The operation is already scheduled to take place in the coming days. I thank you for your spiritual closeness and entrust myself to your prayers.
This video is insanely well done: great content, great interviews, and I'm really impressed at how high the production quality is (especially for his very first video). If you're interested in learning more about modern-day miracles, I really recommend it:

It's a fun question, but there's an answer to it. Between the death of St. Peter and the death of St. John, we have the documentary evidence of 1 Clement (typically dated to either c. 68 or c. 96-97). In it, St. Clement begins:
"The church of God which sojourns at Rome, to the church of God sojourning at Corinth, to them that are called and sanctified by the will of God, through our Lord Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, from Almighty God through Jesus Christ, be multiplied.
Owing, dear brethren, to the sudden and successive calamitous events which have happened to ourselves, we feel that we have been somewhat tardy in turning our attention to the points respecting which you consulted us..."
So you have here an epistle in which the pope (writing on behalf of the Church of Rome) not only addresses a controversy within Corinth, but does so *at their request.* IOW, they bypassed the Apostle John to write to Rome, and no one seems to have found it strange, or believed it was a usurpation.

Her son had no heartbeat for 61 minutes.
His recovery would eventually be recognized by the Catholic Church as the miracle attributed to Fulton Sheen’s intercession that advanced his cause for sainthood.
We had the opportunity to sit down with James Fulton Engstrom’s mother and hear the story from her directly.
Here’s what she had to say:
