Meta is running ads for an app that claims to defeat WhatsApp’s “View Once”a feature Meta built. Apple’s App Store policies prohibit this too. Somehow it’s still live.

Starting this account for one reason: app stores are full of listings that look innocent and advertise something impossible. First up: Pollog. Sold as a “family activity tracker.” Advertised as a way to read your partner’s WhatsApp from their phone number.
