Gen-AI is a net negative in the bigger picture but primarily bad when it intrudes on the careers of another or to provide advertisement to a product that you are selling or for financial gain/incentives, this doesn’t fall into that category however. It’s a joke Twitter is owned by xAI, owned by Elon Musk. Just using this app in any way shape or form feeds the shareholder value of xAI and its integrated AI bot platform Grok theoretically. You don’t have to agree with its existence or its integration but if many’s stances against troll-AI trash pooped out by Grok was anywhere near as strong as claimed people would venture to other social media platforms, such as perhaps Facebook (META AI integration) or maybe Threads? (META AI) Discord? Did you know that Discord used an identity verification vendor named Persona, which was backed by Peter Thiel the co-founder of Palantir? Yes we do live in a modern day technological autocracy and yes it’s true that it’s not justification for taking part in the “bigger picture”, but we shouldn’t pretend that pooping out an image of 300 planets for a meme gag is worse than actively using this platform for multiple hours a day as a living human. Far more shareholder value is coming from the living humans
