He was the number one talent in his class, and none of the women could see it, because they were looking for rich, influential families. The reason JD Vance dated, courted, and ended up marrying Usha Bala Chilukuri is because they were both outsiders, a pair of credentialed striver outcasts in an ecosystem of striver insiders. All their peers came from an aristocratic legacy. What everyone misses about this is the combination of feminist hoeflation, and aristocratic elite social dynamics. Usha Bala Chilukuri was an Indian. JD Vance was a poor white kid military veteran at an Ivy League Law School. Neither one of them fit in. They both felt alone and misunderstood. White women at Yale Law School expected JD Vance to be a billionaire if they were going to look past his impoverished family. That's how extreme their standards were. The other part of this story, which everyone misses, is that JD Vance has spent his entire life dreaming of revenge for the deindustrialization of the American heartland. And another part of this story, which nobody understands, is that the Democrat Party originally built up JD Vance as their answer to President Trump. When President Trump won in 2016, the Democrat Party promoted his memoir Hillbilly Elegy as part of an organized campaign to recapture the low-propensity blue-collar white working class Rustbelt Appalachian voters who had abandoned Democrats under Obama. JD Vance was designed to recapture the Bill Clinton political coalition, the union vote. On February 9th, 2017, at the University of Chicago Institute of Politics, JD Vance taped an interview with Obama's top advisor, David Axelrod, about why President Trump had been elected and how the Democrat Party could potentially recapture the low-propensity white working-class Rustbelt union vote. To rebuild the Bill Clinton political coalition. JD Vance was supposed to be the new Bill Clinton. That's why the Democrats were building him up as their champion.
