I am nervous this will be the response to a teacher shortage. Instead of bolstering supply of teachers by addressing factors that cause people to leave/not consider teaching, the “easier” choice for policy makers will be to lower the bar of quality.
Ohio has just reduced its requirements for teacher licensure. Will there be a movement to replace qualified teachers with less qualified teachers to reduce costs? #EdChat
