The Brightest Black on Cronos ⚫️ I don’t talk a lot on CT about @ObsidianSwap , but I do believe it is one of the safest plays right now on @CronosNetwork. It is also my major play in these difficult times on @CronosNetwork. Why did I choose @ObsidianSwap? 1. Reliability, trust and longevity. @HatenCRO has proved he is trustworthy and playing a long game. You may or may not know this, but he is also a multiple business owner in real life. He knows how to operate a company and how to build. He is not only relying on web3, which secures Obsidian’s position, and bull/bear markets don’t shake him. He is also an OG member of the #CroFam and has been in the industry for at least 10 years, as far as I managed to track his activity back. (Did you know he was minting Cat NFTs already back in 2017?) 2. Product. Obsidian Swap is an aggregator and liquidity pool on Cronos. Better than a DEX, more versatile than a simple aggregator. It is the cheapest aggregator on Cronos, which puts it in a hard-to-beat position, while it also uses 50% fees for $OBS buybacks and 100% of Project token from agg fees shared with Projects that qualify as a royalty partner 3. Liquidity is king. With more than $200k liquidity on OBS, he secured the price and stabilized it. The problem with thin liquidity is that you are stuck in the token. One whale exit can easily halve the price or send the token to 0, which in many cases makes the token a risk for a major institutional listing. This is not the case with Obsidian. With a 1:2 LP/Mcap ratio, it is the most stable token on Cronos right now. This also gives room to play and share liquidity with other DEXs like @VVS_finance if necessary. 4. Building together From the beginning, Haten focused on transparent, community-centric building. When he took over Obsidian and Robins, he made the right calls, merged them, and simplified the ecosystem. He did not just drop inherited products. He improved and lifted them, like the Robins, which he still actively supports. 1.3 Million CRO worth of OBS sitting behind the 2,500 ROBIN NFTs Successful TGE merging 3 tokens into 1 and taking care of existing holders with the way they formed the LP after TGE, which gave TGE participants 5-6x what they had before. Even if this resulted in an initial dip in OBS, for Haten it was important that everyone had a more than fair chance. 5. Lifting the community By now, Obsidian is the only one that still gives out badges to protect and amplify vocal @CronosNetwork, @CronosApp, and @cryptocom users. This is not just protecting us from getting unlawfully suspended (which many of us have experienced before), but also saving us the hefty price of X Premium+, which would cost around $800 a year.
