Seeing everyone complain about modern games having abysmal visual recoil, terrible movement, insane controller rotational aim assist, absurd abilities, etc. makes me so sad, angry and apathetic and depressed to be honest.
Games that have come out with the intention of breaking those norms, having a skillgap and creating a player first experience like Splitgate 1/2/AR, Xdefiant, Empulse, Diabotical, hyperscape, etc, were cast aside by the fps community.
These games could have had small but active populations if it werent for so many miserable people who take a dump on anything outside of the norm. Perpetuating the cycle of the same games coming out year after year with the same problems everyone complains about, see first paragraph above..
I dont want to see anymore posts from people who did not give those games a chance. They were our way out, but you decided to take the ticket and rip it up.
Maybe one day a game will come out to remedy the issues plaguing the fps genre, maybe youll actually give it a chance this time.

Many of us have been trying to tell people Halo can, has, and should be so many different things. The universe has so many more phenomenal stories to tell. Would love to see this come to fruition.

If I were to make another Halo these days, I bet many of you would not like it. It would be a lot darker with a more grounded military feel. PvP would be the brains, PvE the heart and soul. It would not be "everyone's" Halo.

Activision/Infinity Ward misunderstands why people liked Ghost in the OG MW2. It was because he was a quiet, efficient badass with a skullmask, who sometimes said a funny quip. This while still being a side character.
Turning him into the face of the franchise, and giving him increasingly shit tryhard outfits, is the exact opposite of that.
