This year hope is back and on the ballot. We don’t have to be last in education spending. Or first in rural hospital closings. We can change the trajectory of Tennessee. But only if we vote like we love this state.
Election Day is Nov 3rd.

Tomorrow, we cast our votes for the Tennessee values we hold dear.
Strong public schools, not private voucher schemes.
Healthcare when you need it, not lining the pockets of Big Pharma.
Life you can afford, not welfare for the wealthy and well-connected.
Tomorrow, we take back Tennessee for families, not billionaires. Make your plan to vote at greenforgovernor.com/vote.

Obama on backlash about his Cheesecake Factory joke:
First of all, let me get this on the record. I am the father of two daughters. I lived at Chuck E. Cheese, and California Pizza Kitchen, and the Cheesecake Factory. That was my jam for about a decade. Of course, the real problem is prices have gotten so high, folks can barely afford to go out to eat. You would think that this administration would be spending time worrying about that.

Greeneville, Bristol, Sevierville, Clarksville, and Nashville—it was an honor to be welcomed by you! This state is beautiful, but its people are what make it more special. Thank you for sharing your stories with me. I promise to be a governor who will honor your hard work and fight every day to make life better.

Barack Obama: I am old enough to remember when a president wearing a tan suit was a major national controversy. And I know I looked good. It was tight.
Crowd: Yes, you did! Yes, you did! Yes, you did!
Obama: Alright, alright. But I did.

Obama 🔥: "The president wasn't even mad about the Saddam Hussein comparison! That part didn't bother him. But he was very upset about the Cheesecake Factory comments. He took great umbrage. The mobilized a whole of government response to that joke! They told the Treasury Secretary to hold a press conference in front of the Cheesecake Factory. This really happened."

Now @Jerri_M_Green is reminding TN voters that she wants to freeze the gas tax and eliminate grocery tax. And raise the minimum wage to honor those who work for a living. She also talked about her experience eliminating medical debt. The only candidate not to talk about ANY of those issues at tonight’s debate is @VoteMarsha

Tennessee governor candidate Jerri Green just CALLED OUT Marsha Blackburn for avoiding a debate.
“This is a job interview and everybody is seeing her for the COWARD that she is.”
“Show a little backbone if she has one left and stop running into elevators, stop running from press and the airports.”
Green is calling for Blackburn to face voters and defend her record.

Green: “[Blackburn's] proposed over 500 pieces of legislation. Seven of them have passed and five of them were renaming post offices. That's what she's done for Tennesseans in her time in office. Her signature piece of legislation has led to the opioid epidemic that has caused 40,000 Tennesseans to lose their lives over the last 10 years. She's bought and paid for and she doesn't think she has to answer the questions of podcasters or the press or the people most importantly.”

Our campaign is recently getting some national attention because it’s clear that Tennesseans are ready for change. They want groceries they can afford, fully funded public schools, and an end to corruption in government.
Early voting is NOW through Oct 29th. Election Day is Nov 3rd.

While Marsha claims to care about women and girls, she voted to block the release of the Epstein files in September of last year.
When given the choice between standing with survivors demanding answers and shielding political allies, Marsha chose to protect powerful men. Tennessee deserves better than leadership that puts party ahead of justice for victims.
