Your body is more important than the attention you give it. Being successful in a graveyard doesn't do much. Having the energy, willpower and strength to be consistent has a massive direct impact on life, business, and relationships.

People will buy alcohol, candy, shoes, and concert tickets without hesitation - but then hesitate when it comes to investing in themselves because they don't get instant results. The most valuable thing in your life is you. Don't sell yourself short by not investing in yourself.

Friends and family are the worst first customers, but they can be the best: They are easy to access and will 100% try your product. The downside: they want to support you by telling you they love it. Tell them your business won't work without real feedback and make them open up

Super Chat works, Hype Chat works. Good product @Twitch. Who cares if it's copy/paste? What's missing? API access - Twitch often doesn't release products with day 1 3rd party support - but they should start doing it. While we're at it - go ahead and copy YT's DVR features fr

Only 16 of the top 100 streamers in the last 30 days label themselves as a "mature" channel lol. This is a good thing for Twitch, the community, advertisers, and viewers.
We’re rolling out new Content Classification Labels to clarify when streamers should label their streams, and to give viewers more info about the content they see. Tune in to /Twitch today at 10AM PT to learn more and get your questions answered.

TIL that selling gluten-free cookie dough is such a huge security concern of Facebook that we get no explanation for why our first ever ad and page was banned without communication. Boy, it must be really damn good if Meta's banning it. eatdodough.com Here's the ad:

TBH it's a garbage ad, but I was just playing around with the platform last year as my first real deep-dive experience. Maybe it's banned because it's literally just a picture of delicious triple chocolate cookie dough and nothing else lol

It's an ad. Twitch doesn't need to raise awareness, Kick does. The money doesn't have to make sense, they're not looking for a direct ROI. You pay that amount of money to get into every mainstream publication that exists, to get 10,000 YouTube videos made overnight about your platform by the biggest react creators, to get trending on Twitter, to make your brand gain legitimacy, and to make every creator take a second look for the next 2 years.

Everyone's going to say it doesn't go far enough, and of course it doesn't go back to what it used to be, but it's a good first step. All the hot takes are gonna be angry tho...
