With that home run, CJ Abrams joins Pete Crow-Armstrong as the only players in baseball this season with 30 doubles, 30 homers, 30 stolen bases and 100 RBI.

For all the “I’m done with Jayden Daniels, You Can’t Extend Him, He’s Injury Prone” crowd.
Matthew Stafford missed 19 games in his first 3 season due to injury. He’s now in his 17th season in the NFL.

Jayden Daniels going down again is concerning, but by no means should Washington even think about giving up on him. #JaydenDaniels #NFL #Commanders

This is a clown show. The coaching staff has lost complete control of the emotions of the team.

Sonny Styles’ final stat line from his NFL debut against the Philadelphia Eagles:
• 46 total defensive snaps
• 3 total pressures (led team)
• 1 sack (led team)
• 2 TFL’s (led team)
• 2 receptions allowed (55 yards)
• 1 receiving TD allowed
The Commanders rookie LB was STRONG in the pass rush, not as much in coverage 😳

The National Wrestling Alliance is saddened to note the passing of “Superstar” Bill Dundee.
Born in Scotland and billed from Australia, where he began wrestling in 1962, Dundee became a standout of the NWA territory system in the 1970s and ‘80s. His 50-plus year in-ring career included reigns as NWA Mid-America and NWA Southern Heavyweight Champion.
Especially prolific within his adopted home state of Tennessee, “The Superstar” was a staple in both Continental Wrestling Association and the United States Wrestling Association, where he captured the USWA Unified World Heavyweight title. He twice held the AWA World Tag Team championships with frequent rival and partner, fellow Memphis wrestling legend Jerry “The King” Lawler.
The National Wrestling Alliance sends its most heartfelt wishes to the family, friends and fans of “Superstar” Bill Dundee.

What happened?
1. 🧊 Glacier collapse: A large portion of a glacier in the Himalayan region broke away and fell into a steep valley.
2. 🪨 Ice + rock + debris: The collapse generated a huge debris flow containing ice, rocks, sediment and water.
3. 🌊 Sudden river surge: This rapidly increased the flow in the Lhende/Bhote Koshi river system, producing a powerful flash flood downstream.
4. ⛰️ Steep Himalayan terrain: Nepal's steep valleys allow enormous volumes of water and debris to travel very rapidly, making flash floods particularly destructive.
5. 🌡️ Climate change may contribute: Himalayan glaciers are retreating and thinning with rising temperatures, potentially making glacier slopes and glacial lakes more unstable. However, the exact contribution of climate change to this particular collapse is still being investigated.
Important: The seismic signal initially led to reports of an earthquake, but subsequent analysis indicated that it was generated by the glacial collapse and resulting debris flow, not a conventional earthquake.
More generally, Nepal is highly flood-prone because of monsoon rainfall, cloudbursts, landslides, snow/glacier melt, glacial-lake outburst floods (GLOFs), and landslide-dammed rivers.
