This method of splitting tasks up has saved me so much time hemming and hawing over what to do when. Better than a time-blocked schedule, some days! What are your tricks like this? (credit to inventor - couldn’t find who; just the picture.) #hacks #planning #planner #Calendar

“It’s childish to use victory stickers on your to-do list.” Yeah, well, I wasn’t in a great place mentally in my teenage years, and sometimes my brain will fall back into “what’s the point of doing X? It won’t stay done.” …

Now, I shut it up with “a pretty dragon sticker - that’s the point.” And that part of my brain isn’t used to push back so it shuts up. Embrace the childish/silly rewards for getting stuff done, if they help! Stickers, chocolate, a penny in a jar - if it keeps you going, use it!

It’s morning and we’re alive. It’s a crisp autumn day. I DON’T have a killer headache, today. I’ve gotten a good amount of work done, already. I’ve still got a good amount on my to-do list, and a planner that WORKS to keep track of it all. Life is good! Have a Cor picture.

I was never able to use a planner like I wanted to. That changed this year.

I was able to change up the designs several times to keep on top of changing commitments and keep it fresh so my eyes didn’t get bored. I was able to build in a reward system that worked for me and change it up when I needed to.

I’m going to be beta testing a process to help teach other people how they can do the same. Is that something you’d be interested in - a planner tailored for you that changes with your commitments and schedule? Drop me a comment or DM and let me know!

“Cor… Cor, throw my ball - the humans won’t.”

When you’re *stightly* attached to your Hooman, and she went down the hallway.

Nothing quite like the joy of a simple walk with your dog on a crisp autumn morning. #grateful Hoping you all have a lovely day!

Work is going slow, so have a sleeping Cor to brighten your timeline.

Okay, yes. Now I do remember why I love a freshly brushed poodle.

Background: I was informed that, as a poodle, I should be spritzing him with water before I brush so the hairs don’t break. That threw up a mental barrier to entry. We went for a walk in the rain, this morning, so I decided to take advantage of nature’s spritzing.

Today, I think the fluff is worth the extra work of spritzing. Tomorrow, that answer may change. 😅

If your planner/calendar doesn’t have enough room for you to track everything, you’re using the wrong planner. If you’re using something that is specifically supposed to help you keep track of stuff, and you still have to hold things in your mind, it’s not made for you.
