Being bearish on the S&P 500 makes you sound smart, but it won’t make you rich.

Lord, please protect us from those ridiculous banks.
Interestingly when precious metals about to top, major global banks come out with ridiculous upside forecasts. I remember when gold was trading around $5.5-5.6k early in 2026, the same banks were calling $8-10k price targets following which gold is under $4k. Now the same group of banks are calling $3.5-4k price targets for gold. I think the bottom is very close…

#gold #silver My email to KWN in 2014. No change, a broken clock. Has Michael Oliver ever been bearish on gold and silver? When a "few" chartists rang the bell in January, he told us that silver would go to $500 by June. A few days after the major top, he told us to "ignore the topcallers". Later, "many" chartists saw the obvious. He has no shame and still pretends to be smart, making all the others seem wrong. Any methodology that predicts a market will go up 5x in five months, only to watch it lose ~60%, might be unique, but it is useless. These guys have caused so much damage to retail investors. When gold and silver bottom, I hope that we will leave behind us all these clowns and their religious followers.

Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10. Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years. Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.

Let me get all the hate here but I am gonna go all in on this one. If you follow finance accounts on X, save this. These are the red flags I’ve learned to watch for over the years: 1. They only show winners. Somehow every losing idea disappears from the timeline. 2. They can never say “I was wrong.” There is always an excuse, a new timeframe, or a changed thesis. 3. Their position magically becomes “small” after the stock crashes. But when it was green, they couldn’t stop posting about it. 4. They post the percentage gain from the low instead of their actual return. A stock bouncing 40% doesn’t help much if they bought it 70% higher. 5. Every stock has a ridiculous price target. Everything is a 3x, 5x, 10x “generational opportunity.” 6. Everything that drops becomes “deep value.” They confuse a lower price with a better investment. 7. They constantly average down into broken trends without ever explaining where they admit the thesis failed. 8. They have no stop-loss philosophy. There is never a price where they’re wrong. 9. They never discuss position sizing. Every idea sounds like a conviction buy until it blows up - then suddenly it was “only a tiny position.” 10. They speak with certainty about uncertain outcomes. “This WILL happen.” “Guaranteed.” “Impossible to lose.” 11. They sell the dream more than they teach the process. Lambos, screenshots, massive gains, retirement by 30 — but very little actual education. 12. They constantly remind you how accurate they are. Good work should speak for itself. 13. They cherry-pick entry prices after the move happens. Somehow they always bought the exact bottom. 14. They attack anyone who questions the thesis instead of discussing the argument. 15. They treat followers like exit liquidity. Heavy promotion appears after a huge move rather than before the opportunity. 16. Their entire analysis is narrative. A stock they bought at $150, $120 and $80 is now $30, but somehow the story is still “it’ll come back.” If your average is $120, you need a 300% gain just to break even. 17. They confuse a good company with a good stock at any price. 18. They make fear their business model. Every pullback is a crash coming. Or greed is their business model. Every rally is the beginning of the next 10x. 19. Their paid product depends on constant urgency. “Last chance.” “Don’t miss this.” “This stock is about to explode.” 20. They make you feel stupid for taking profits. They make you feel weak for cutting a loss. They discourage independent thinking. You’re supposed to follow them instead of learning how to make decisions yourself. 21. They have been through one bull market and suddenly teach people how markets work. A prolonged bear market exposes processes that easy markets hide. 22. Their followers are buried in drawdowns while they’re constantly posting victory laps. Most importantly: their incentives are different from yours. They may get paid when you click, subscribe, or keep watching. You only get paid when you protect and grow your capital. Save this one. Nobody is perfect. Having one or two of these doesn’t automatically make someone bad. But if someone checks half this list, stop giving them your attention - and definitely stop giving them your money.
I’m gonna call out the so-called finance influencers for a second. I know this is gonna offend many people and I am sorry for hurting your feelings but this needs to be said. - Why don’t you talk about your losers? - Why is it so hard to say, “I was wrong. That stock was a bad pick.” - Why do the stocks you couldn’t stop talking about suddenly disappear from your feed once they’re down 50%? 2025 and 2026 created a graveyard of stocks down 50%, 60%, 70%+ from their highs. Some may never fully recover. If you pushed a stock 5, 10, 20 times as an “investment opportunity” - especially to paying subscribers - you don’t get to go silent when it blows up. Your ego should never be more important than someone else’s capital. Anybody can post the winner and quietly delete the loser from the conversation. Real accountability is coming back and saying: I got this one wrong. Grow some balls. Man up. Own it.

Jeffrey Christian has a warning about silver. The deficit everyone keeps citing does not exist. His firm built the original World Silver Survey in the late 1980s. He knows where the numbers come from. Here is the trick. Do the math properly and silver runs a surplus, not a deficit. To fake a deficit, marketers fold investment demand into fabrication demand. Suddenly the market looks tight. And nobody can check. Silver is one of the most secretive markets on earth. The lesson is not that silver is bad. A deficit headline is often a sales pitch in a data costume. Full breakdown in the video.
Most of what you hear about gold and silver is wrong. Jeffrey Christian says that is because people treat it like a religion instead of doing the math. @jchristiannyc1 joins the Gold Exchange podcast to separate fact from fiction. Fort Knox is audited every year and the gold is there. China is not secretly underreporting its reserves. And the silver deficit everyone cites does not actually exist, it was invented by marketers to sell you a tighter market. His rule through all of it: do not invest on your beliefs, invest on your knowledge. @CPMGroupLLC

Folks, let me tell you something. Red inflation? It's a beautiful thing. It's magnificent, it's brilliant — the greatest inflation you've ever seen, believe me. Tremendous numbers, very strong, very powerful. Nobody knows more about inflation than me, and Red inflation is a total winner. Everybody's winning bigly, the economy is booming like never before. It's huge, it's yuge!"" But Blue inflation? It was a total disaster. A complete and total catastrophe. The worst inflation in the history of our country — maybe the history of the world. Crooked Blue inflation was killing us. It destroyed families, destroyed businesses, destroyed the middle class. Very low energy, very sad. These radical left people have no idea what they're doing. They're incompetent. They're destroying everything. Sad!
