1 week update: 1. Mum still in hospital, therapy etc got her rebuilding strength while still monitoring her condition💪 Family has really come together to give her support and make her feel comfortable. Which has been great to see ❤️ 2. One of my web3 jobs dropped my contract due to my situation and my lower level of activity 🥲 So will have to most likely refocus my attention back to work sooner than expected. If anyone is in need of a either -Discord Management - Discord Security - Community Management - Project Management. Let me know and i’ll get back to you as soon as I can ✌️ Stay blessed everyone

Our Discord Security courses are temporarily offline while we reorganize some things. Looking to possibly move them over to be hosted & maintained by @boringsecurity as keeping up with them is very time consuming, so we want to make sure they’re available & up to date! More soon 💜

I’ve been seeing a rather large increase lately for big Discord servers to be compromised; specifically those for platforms, networks, protocols etc. Servers who have 100k+ Twitter accounts, IE there’s a massive userbase at risk.

Well I got hacked. I was stupid. Way in the beginning of Web3 when I set up my first wallet, which became my hot wallet, I stored the seed, phrase in Evernote. They hacked, my Evernote, drained my ETH and my NFT‘s. Did not get the stuff in my ledger. So @proof_xyz pass, @moonbirds , @DeGodsNFT All safe. Lost @inpeakxyz @ZenAcademy and all kinds of stuff.

Cold admins are primarily a terminology I came up with when I first started going down the Discord Security rabbit hole. There is a reason every approved @Server_Forge auditor uses them. There is a reason educators like @Plumferno in the space preach it. xitter.cf/Jon_HQ/status/16001883…

🥶 Cold Admin v.3 Here is my most recent Cold Admin setup instructions. What is a Cold Admin? It is a Discord account that is distinct and exclusively used on a separate device, such as an old phone or laptop. Stay safe and keep your servers secure by using Cold Admins.
