We recently installed a @LegrandUK KEOR MOD UPS in a new #ServerRoom, along with 18 @Schleifenbauer PDUs for a manufacturing client based in the UK, with offices worldwide. The modular UPS system has four 25kW UPS modules, providing either 100kW of total capacity or 75kW with N+1 redundancy, plus internal modular battery trays. serverroomenvironments.co.uk…

A new #ServerRoom UPS installation by our Projects Team, this time a Legrand UK & Ireland KEOR MOD 75kW modular UPS with maintenance bypass. The UPS system has three 25kW UPS modules, providing either 75kW of total capacity or 50kW with N+1 redundancy. Modular batteries make maintenance easier and help reduce the overall footprint of the UPS system. serverroomenvironments.co.uk… #ModularUPS #PowerProtection #UninterruptiblePowerSupply #DataCentre #CriticalPower #Resilience #Legrand

A recent installation by our Projects Team at a Fire Service HQ included three AKCP SP2+LCD environmental monitors, each fitted with their own AKCP temperature and humidity sensor and a light tower. The SP2+LCD units were connected to the local IP network and used virtual sensors to signal alert conditions to one another as part of the alarm reporting protocol. serverroomenvironments.co.uk…

When we were asked to supply three UPS systems with a 4-hour runtime to protect critical medical equipment, while keeping the footprint as small as possible, our Projects Team turned to the SRE Racks range. Each cabinet houses a 3kVA CertaUPS along with its battery packs, giving a compact, neatly cabled installation that delivers extended backup runtime without taking up valuable floor space. If you need a space-saving solution for extended UPS runtimes, our racks are built for exactly this kind of job. serverroomenvironments.co.uk…

This summer, our Projects Team worked to a tight deadline to deliver and install 20 UPS systems across 7 schools for a North of England Trust. The project used 18 of the latest Riello Sentinel Dual SD2 3kVA UPS, some with battery extensions, plus 2 Riello iDialog UPS for two remote comms cabinets. All the Sentinel UPS were fitted with NetMan SNMP cards, giving the Trust’s IT team maximum visibility and allowing them to manage their UPS 24/7 through their own DCIM platform. serverroomenvironments.co.uk…

We're seeing growing demand from our clients for Intelligent PDUs, and when it comes to quality, reliability and monitoring, they don't come much better than those from @Schleifenbauer. Well done to our #datacentre projects team on renewal of their @SchneiderElec training, taking us to the Schneider Select Partner level for IT Solutions. A fantastic achievement that strengthens our expertise and enables us to deliver even greater value to our data centre and #serverroom customers. Congratulations, SRE team! 💚serverroomenvironments.co.uk…

A really neat project, and a big well done to the SRE installations team for another great installation. 👏 The new @LegrandUK 5th Generation TriMOD UPS certainly looks the part. Its modern design is complemented by a host of innovative features, making it an impressive solution for critical power protection. We’re looking forward to delivering future projects where we’ve specified the 5th generation TriMOD systems and seeing the outstanding #PowerProtection it provides in action. Another great installation by the SRE team! ⚡👏 #UPS #Legrand #TriMOD #PowerProtection #CriticalPower #SRE #ServerRoom #Infrastructure #UPSsystems #electricalinstallations

Well done to the SRE team on our recertification to ISO9001:2015 for another 3 years. Just one of three certifications we have with the BSI.

Another #datacentre project for the SRE Team. This time installing 30kW of @Airsysuk cooling in an #AI development. This is just one of several projects where the SRE team is being asked to bring its expertise in #powerprotection #criticalcooling and #environmentalmonitoring to client sites installing #AI servers and #technologies. #AirCooling #PowerProtection #ArtificialIntelligence #Datacentres #ServerRooms serverroomenvironments.co.uk…

A recent project for the SRE Projects Team in London. The original #Borri #UPSsystems were beyond economic repair and so our client, a commercial property management company, tasked us with their replacement. Two new 6kVA #OnlineUPS were installed and the original systems removed for environmentally friendly disposal. For more information on our single-phase UPS see: serverroomenvironments.co.uk…

We've got some great #datacentre exhibitions and events coming up within the next 12 months. Here's a list including some past events. serverroomenvironments.co.uk… #serverrooms

Here's a short guide on UPS fault finding and trouble shooting for smaller UPS systems (sub 10kVA) which are often deployed in #serverracks and not monitored. #criticalpower #upsalarms #upsbatteries #environmentalmonitoring. It's always surprising how many UPS systems we come across in #commsrooms and #serverrooms that are in an alarm condition, leaving their connected critical loads with no #powerprotection in the event of a #poweroutage. serverroomenvironments.co.uk…

We had a wonderful time as one of the sponsors of the @legrand #Golfday last month. The course at the Forest of Arden Hotel & Country Club certainly provided a challenge, as the photos of the 8th hole show!, but it was super fun and a fantastic day all round. The event was also a great opportunity to catch up and connect with colleagues, clients, suppliers and partners from across the #CriticalPower industry, alongside the other sponsors: GS Yuasa Battery Sales UK Ltd, Purdicom and Starkstrom. #PowerControl #Legrand #GolfDay #Networking #Partnership #CriticalPower #ProtectMonitorControl #ProtectMonitorControl #serverrooms #datacentres

Another recent #datacentre installation for the SRE projects team. This time we added 24kW of DX in-row cooling into the data centre of an existing #serverrack client. For this application we partnered with Airsys to add one of their latest in-row cooling systems. Another #3phase UPS installation completed by the SRE Projects Team. There are thousands of ageing UPS installations across the UK, and we regularly undertake projects like this. In this case, the UPS battery set was relatively new, but the client wanted to modernise their UPS electronics with a new system for #resilience and #efficiency. To minimise disruption to the #serverroom, we utilised the existing UPS maintenance bypass during the installation. We also reconfigured the #battery set to support the DC voltage requirements of the new 40kVA @Legrand, which was supplied and installed as part of the project.
