We don't learn much when things go right. It's when things go wrong that we learn the most.

Leaders, when you get healthier, your church gets healthier. But it also means that sometimes, people who don't want to get healthy leave.

Pray for Afghanistan. Hope doesn’t go to sleep just because it’s dark outside; it lights a candle and stays up waiting for the rest of the story.

A verse I keep going back to over and over... "But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31 NLT

Marks of Humility (for me): ● Assume my perspective is not THE perspective ● Make space for others to speak ● Slow to declare, generous to invite ● Practice unlearning & relearning ● Be confessional rather than controlling ● When critiqued don't deflect, seek discernment

Molly has been unable to wake up, although all the sedatives are gone. Her EEG is not showing activity. The doctors will do one more exam tomorrow. If Molly is non-responsive, they will say that she is no longer with us. Please pray with everything in your heart for a miracle.

More of this on Twitter, please. Thanks Paul.
You who see this--in the name of Jesus, I bless you. Go into this bright evening with joy, and give something good from yourself for the life of the world. You are more loved than you know, and stronger than you can easily see. Peace to you.
