Couldn’t believe the size of this giant dog with its owner riding on its back

This afternoon I had my bandage removed & was given the all clear from the VetMan To celebrate I took OldMiseryGuts & TheLady to the field with my new Frisbee for a big long FreeRun & play I think they enjoyed themselves

OldMiseryGuts didn’t realise when he ordered my new frisbee that it was a squeaky one! Both Him & the TheLady aren’t amused & after only 10 minutes threatening to hide it somewhere I won’t be able to find it! Calling the Guide Dog Union for legal advice

Just got back from VetMan & with some good news & some bad news Bad news- I had to have another bandage put on my leg ☹️ Good news- We go back Thursday & if it continues to heal as well as it has already I don’t get another bandage I can now also take OldMiseryGuts out

I’m not only wounded!, I’m also grounded! Not my fault an obstacle jumped out on front of me whilst on FreeRun today VetMan stabbed me twice & made me wear this stupid bandage & told OldMiseryGuts’s I must keep it dry! How can I go swimming & keep it dry Back to VetMan Monday

I’ve got to wear my new uniform for the first time today when I guided OldMiseryGuts to the Armistice Day Commemoration at St Peter’s Church this morning

Can you believe it, a security man @springfieldspal actually asked OldMiseryGuts if “I WAS A REAL ASSISTANCE DOG?” When he said yes, why we were told it’s a strictly no dogs site! Who would dress up a dog in Guide Dog harness just to take it shopping! We’re really not amused

We’ve just returned home from our visit to Northampton and my GDMI really does love me! Look what she’s arranged to be sent out & was waiting for me when we got home. She ask OldMiseryGuts how much we worked & walked because my uniform was falling to bits through wear&tare

OldMiseryGuts & me Just had our last aftercare visit from GDMI Allison before I change addresses to the seaside She said I was absolutely magnificent on our walk & looked after & guided him wonderfully I know She really loves me because I was the best dog she ever trained

Evidently sitting nicely at the checkout in the supermarket isn’t the place to practice my “Wolf Style Howl” OldMiseryGuts told me to stop & behave but the man in front laughed loudly I think I made him a happy shopper so instead of getting told off I should have got a treat!

I might not look it but I’m extremely comfortable thank you very much

After this service I’ve been invited to open the new Pet Memorial Garden A nice quiet place everyone can go to and fondly remember all those lovely animals at Rainbow Bridge 🌈
