When you see kids 6-16 in curtain raisers; England, Ireland, Canada, Samoa, Tonga and All Black Internationals playing in @SendInTheToops Testimonial game; Dylan Hartley and Zinzan Brooke as water boys; it reminds you why we love rugby @BedfordBluesRFC #COYB #sendinthetoops xitter.cf/BedfordBluesRFC/status…

What a day! A match report will follow but basically there were lots of tries with plenty of laughs in front of 2005 fans. Smashing finish for a top man @SendInTheToops #RugbyFamily #COYB

Wishing the legend that is @Toopsuk all the best in his testimonial game today. A legend on and off the pitch. Great servant for @SaintsRugby and @BedfordBluesRFC Was a pleasure to play with!

Pleased to come out of retirement to support @SendInTheToops testimonial. @Toopsuk is one of the hardest but nicest guys I have come across and wow what a career - stalwart for @BedfordBluesRFC and @SaintsRugby #hopinglungsholdout

So today a legend bows out of the game after 25 years. I don’t think any of us knew back in 2008 just what a cult hero @SendInTheToops would become on the terraces at Goldington Road #sendinthetoops – at Beeston, England

Last of the night, but certainly not least! We will have the man himself and his son on the field tomorrow for what promises to be a truly special day @Toopsuk @Conz_T #sendinthetoops #hopedadcankeepup
Next up it’s a battle of the pretty boys as speedster, finishing wingers @DeanoAdamson and @ben_foden lock horns, straight off the back of a @SaintsRugby Man of the Match performance! Thanks for the spoiler @samrobertsrugby #sendinthetoops #donttouchtheface
First match up of three tonight features two lock forwards who could play for @BedfordBluesRFC or @SaintsRugby old boys, but which colour will they wear? Good luck @JordanOnojaife and @alex_rae_ #gentlemans #sendinthetoops
