Happy World Teachers’ Day!
We’re lucky to have so many dedicated teachers here in Northeast Philadelphia and around the Commonwealth who show up every day for our kids. Thank you for everything you do to help them learn, grow, and succeed — both in and out of the classroom. 🍎📚

Dropped off some hoagies at the 15th Police District today as a small thank you to the officers who serve our community every day.

The Ryan-Judge rivalry lived up to the hype this weekend!
I had the pleasure of meeting students, parents, and staff from both schools and catching up with everyone who came out. After an overtime battle, Father Judge took home the win.
⬇️
Today, I sat down with Joe Coccio (Secretary/Treasurer) Will Warfield (Vice President) and Sam Schwartz (General Counsel) from Transport Workers Union Local 234 to talk about issues facing our transit workers.
⬇️
We had a productive conversation about Senate Bill 210, also known as Bernard Gribbin’s Law, which I introduced to strengthen protections for transit workers, as well as potential solutions to SEPTA’s funding challenges including taxing skill games to help fund public transit.
⬇️
Tomorrow, one of Northeast Philly’s biggest rivalries is back! 🏈
Who are you rooting for — Archbishop Ryan or Father Judge?
