Team Ortt presented a Certificate of Recognition at Niagara Gospel Mission's Women's Shelter groundbreaking. They will offer emergency housing to women escaping abuse, battling addiction, or living on the streets. The Mission hopes work will be complete by next June.
When friend and fellow veteran Nicholas Martone came home from serving our country, he lost his sense of purpose. The PFC Dwyer Program gave him hope, camaraderie and a reason to persevere. Now, he's helping fellow veterans find that same hope. That's the power of saving lives.
Green scam mandates like forcing you to heat your home with all electric will rob you blind. Albany Democrats already caused your utility bills to skyrocket due to taxes and fees. Banning gas stoves will make it worse. Here's proof: empirecenter.org/publication…
A new chapter for the Lewiston Event Center. Team Ortt joined the ribbon cutting to celebrate its grand reopening under new owners Mike Carella and his family. Congratulations on keeping this community favorite rolling for years to come.
As a combat veteran, I know firsthand that some wounds of war aren't visible. Veterans can turn to loved ones, friends, and counselors for help. But there's a special bond between those who've worn the uniform. That's the power of the Joseph Dwyer Program. It saves lives.
If you vote in Niagara County, here's important information from the Board of Elections on where and when you can vote early.
Combat veterans value the love of family, the advice of friends, and the help of therapists. But sometimes, only a fellow warrior truly understands. That's why I fight for the Joseph Dwyer Peer-to-Peer Program. Veterans fought for us. Now we fight for them.
No veteran should fight battles alone. Sometimes the strongest lifeline is a fellow veteran who understands the struggle. That's the mission of the Joseph Dwyer Peer-to-Peer Program. From housing assistance to suicide prevention, we're helping save lives right here in NY62.

Our veterans fought for us. I'll never stop fighting for them. That's why I secured a 12% funding increase for the Joseph Dwyer Veterans Program, with over $208,000 coming to Niagara County next year. Mental health care. PTSD support. Suicide prevention. Saving veterans' lives
As a combat veteran, I know the battles don't always end when our heroes come home. Niagara County will receive over $208,000 for the Joseph Dwyer Veterans' Support Program, providing peer support, PTSD treatment resources, housing assistance and suicide prevention.
Connecting Niagara County families with critically important services. That took place at the St. John de LaSalle Community Care's Health and Information Fair. Team Ortt attended along with important agencies like Niagara Hospice and Meals on Wheels.
Team Ortt was proud to attend @SUNYNiagara's Scholarship Soirée at the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute! From showcasing talented culinary students to honoring distinguished alumni, this event supports a Foundation awarding over $250,000 annually in student scholarships.
On this day we celebrate a man who took a chance and voyaged to an entirely new world. The end result? The creation of the greatest nation this world has ever seen. Happy Columbus Day, New York State.
ICYMI: A 12-year-old girl lay critically injured after being struck by a car. Off-duty NT Assistant Fire Chief Kyle Stevener didn't hesitate. He jumped into action to save her life. I was proud to award him the NYS Senate Liberty Medal, the highest civilian honor we can bestow.
Both @KathyHochul and @ZohranKMamdani doubled down on their Commie crusade to protect illegal immigrants. This is a pathetic attempt by Hochul to bend the knee to radical Socialist voters a few weeks before Election Day. I stand strong with law enforcement to deport illegal immigrants. This will protect innocent families across New York State.
New Yorkers are outraged tonight. Immigrant communities are terrified. And we are demanding answers.
There is still much we don’t know about what happened in Marble Hill. But initial reports indicate ICE agents fired into a vehicle with a five-year-old child inside. Any trained law enforcement officer knows how easily that could have ended in tragedy. By the grace of God, that child appears to have escaped without physical injury.
No child should ever have to experience the terror of gunfire, let alone wonder if they’ll make it home alive. As a mother and grandmother, I cannot imagine how frightening those moments must have been.
New Yorkers have witnessed far too many acts of violence by a rogue federal agency and untrained agents that operate with impunity.
Federal authorities need to provide answers, and they must do so immediately.
I worked closely and collaboratively with state, local, and private stakeholders to help keep Lockport's Candlelight Cabinetry open, secure new ownership and nearly $6 million in private investment to protect jobs. The great news continues with this $1 million NYS grant. wkbw.com/niagara-county/revi…
Green scam mandates forced on your family by Albany Democrats caused your utility bills to skyrocket. Their all electric school bus mandate and mission to block gas stoves in new builds will cause costs to skyrocket even higher. This is why the @nysenategop fights for a balanced approach of multiple energy sources to lower costs and provide safe, clean power for your family and businesses.
Democracy depends on us exercising our right to vote. There's still time to register for this November's election. Here's how: elections.ny.gov/voter-regis…
