If you're a federal agent who violates the Constitution, you can be sued under the laws New York passed this year.
Make no mistake- you will be held personally liable for your actions.

New Yorkers: Do you have a form of immigration relief called withholding of removal? Have you received an ICE letter summoning you to 26 Federal Plaza? Here’s what you can do:
1. Call our Immigration Legal Support Hotline at 1-800-354-0365, or call 311 and say "Immigration Legal" for free, confidential help in your native language.
2. Fill out our intake form to get help from the Rapid Response Legal Collaborative: nyc.gov/RRLC
3. Make a plan. Make sure you have an emergency contact and that someone you trust has your A-number. Talk to a lawyer before making any decisions.
Immigrants with protected status who’ve lived in the city for decades are finding themselves swept up, shackled and threatened with expulsion.

Big Oil has the ear of the highest court of the land. New Yorkers deserve their day in court too.
Today #SCOTUS heard arguments on whether state courts can hold the fossil fuel industry accountable for the ravages of climate change in our communities. 1/2
Regardless of how they rule, millions of New Yorkers will continue to be impacted by the damages of a warming planet.
Big Oil should have to answer for that damage.
I proudly wrote the Climate Negligence Act to do just that.

New Yorkers: the storm is still underway, and quiet stretches can give way to strong gusts at any moment.
Winds are bringing down trees, loosening facades and scaffolding, and knocking down power lines across the city. If you're outside, use caution in parks and anywhere with trees, keep clear of scaffolding, cranes, and construction sites, and stay far away from anything it touches including cars, fences, and puddles. Never try to move a tree or branch that's tangled in wires. Watch for loose signs, awnings, and debris blowing off buildings. Call 911 if there’s a life safety issue for trees and power lines.
Hazards will remain after the storm ends, so continue to exercise caution when getting around.
Proud to support (and represent) Brooklyn's Backyard! Look forward to these improvements at the lake and across the Park.
The Alliance thanks @GovKathyHochul for providing $4 million + @SenatorMyrie for providing $1 million to fully fund the $25 million restoration of Brooklyn's only lake, creating a more resilient, accessible + welcoming shoreline. Learn more: prospectpark.org/lake-restor… c. Martin Seck

Millions of eligible Americans aren't registered to vote — and many who think they are may have had their status lapse. Don’t be one of them.
Take two minutes today to check. Then let your friends know to check too!

To all New Yorkers observing Rosh Hashana this evening, l'shana tovah! May 5787 be a year of happiness, health and peace.
25 years ago we came face to face with the worst of humanity. But we also saw the solidarity of ordinary New Yorkers and the heroism of our first responders. We will never forget those we lost that day or in the years since.
Happy first day of school to NYC's incredible teachers, administrators and staff!
And to the hundreds of thousands of students heading back to class today- wishing you the best of luck for an amazing year ahead. You got this!
Generations have fought, and died, to secure our civil rights.
Thanks to the law we passed this year, New Yorkers have a way to enforce them in court, and hold government agents accountable for violating them.
Team Myrie was out and about for #NationalNightOut across Central Brooklyn!
