Recent @myushbc survey shows impact of SBA rule changes
Trump's illegal war in Iran has gas prices through the roof—all while wage growth plummets. Main Street deserves an economy working with them, not against them. That's why I'll continue fighting for affordability for American small business owners, workers, and families.

Americans in crisis deserve support—no matter what state they live in or who they vote for. Trump is putting his ego over essential aid and is playing political games with disaster victims and communities. Unacceptable.
Trump’s discriminatory small business policies are hurting Main Street. After SBA implemented citizenship restrictions and drastically changed loan programs, small businesses received 27,000 fewer loans last year—a $7.6 billion loss. Trump’s SBA must rescind its harmful policies.
The Trump admin’s reckless policies have turned Main Street into Pain Street, and small businesses, entrepreneurs, and workers deserve answers. It’s unacceptable that @SBA_Kelly refuses to come before Congress and answer why SBA is putting big businesses over small businesses.
Main Street is the heartbeat of the American economy. From Massachusetts to Michigan, our communities depend on the millions of small businesses and workers to grow and thrive. That is why I'm fighting to give everyone a fighting chance to achieve the American Dream.
Trump is turning the Small Business Administration into the Big Business Administration. Under SBA's rule, big businesses would qualify for small business contracts, making it harder for actual small businesses to compete. SBA must put Main Street first and rescind its proposal.
Trump’s racist immigration policies are hurting Main Streets from Massachusetts to California. That’s why I’m fighting to ensure the American Dream is not just for the few, but for all.
The Trump admin is ripping the American Dream away from hardworking immigrants. That's why @NydiaVelazquez and I are fighting to end the SBA's draconian citizenship restrictions. We are committed to fighting for every small business that enriches Main Street.

Trump’s tariff tax carousel just keeps going around and around—and small business and American families are the ones getting whiplash. Trump must stop his MAGA merry-go-round and put an end to the Pain on Main Street.

In April, I reauthorized the SBIR/STTR programs to support our innovators. Since then, more than $39 million went to Bay State small businesses through the NIH SBIR/STTR programs to develop treatments for Alzheimer's, technologies to help detect early-stage cancers, and more.
It has been more than 400 days since @SBA_Kelly has appeared before the Senate Small Business Committee. Meanwhile, the Trump administration's reckless policies are turning Main Street into Pain Street.

.@SBA_Kelly claimed the SBA hasn't heard from small businesses that are struggling because of Trump's tariff taxes. We have the receipts. Main Street is suffering. Trump must be held accountable.
The contrast is stark: Reward billionaires and trillionaires. Leave small businesses struggling. I will always choose small businesses and workers over Trump’s CEO billionaire buddies.

Senator Ed Markey fired off a letter to Small Business Administration administrator Kelly Loeffler, criticizing the federal agency’s planned relocation out of Boston and its closure last year of its Springfield office trib.al/CvHm6pT
For 27 years, the Olmstead decision has protected the right of entrepreneurs and workers with disabilities to live with dignity in their communities. As Trump works to reverse these protections, we must fight to uphold opportunities for all to build and grow small businesses.
Trump’s Supreme Court failed TPS holders, including 45,000 people from Haiti who work and create jobs in Massachusetts. This Admin prefers to demonize legal immigrants rather than recognize that immigrant entrepreneurship is part of the fabric of our communities.
I spoke with local Haitians with temporary protected status and Haitian leaders about the impacts this #SCOTUS decision will have.
